From the airport or the highway:
Exit "Firenze Nord". Follow the road signs for the "Centro/Novoli/Rifredi-Careggi". After 500mt you can see the Esso gasoline station on the right, and the Q8 (another gasoline station) on the left, follows the road signs for the "Centro/Rifredi-Careggi".
When you are in front of the Hotel Alexander (the name of the street is Viale Guidoni) go straight to the "CENTRO" road signs. You have to follows also the road signs "CENTRO/STAZIONE/STADIO".
When you'll reach a tree-lined road (the name of the street is Viale Forlanini), after 500 mt there is a round about, follows the road signs "CENTRO/STADIO/FORTEZZA sede mostra" (yellow sign). When you can see the big BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO shop, there is another road sign that indicates "CENTRO/STADIO/FORTEZZA", you'll reach another tree-lined road (the name of the street is Viale Redi), you go straight for about 1.3 km following "STAZIONE" directions.
When you'll cross a tree-lined road, you have to follow "STAZIONE/STADIO/FIESOLE" road signs (blue sign) until to pass under a railway bridge (signed by a big sponsor ESSELUNGA). You'll reach a tree-lined road (the name of the street is Viale Lavagnini), take the "FIESOLE" directions. After 700mt you'll arrive in a square "Piazza della Libertà", you'll continue to follow the "Fiesole" directions (blue sign).
After the square follow the road signs for "Ponterosso/Bolognese", when you'll see a Church you have to pass a bridge, then on the right you'll see an indication for "Hotel Villa Le Rondini". Here starts VIA BOLOGNESE. 2,7 km after Ponterosso and after a church, on the left you can see the road sign "La Lastra". Public square with trees to the center. On the right, gasoline station AGIP, attention you are nearby! In the square side bar, street on the left, after 400 mt there is a traffic lights and you have arrived at Villa L'Acacia. We attend our guests with a one good bottle of Chianti wine. |
