By Air: Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci is located 5km from the city centre and the Grand Hotel Adriatico, Taxis are available or bus N° 62 leaves from the airport terminal to the city centre. Alternatively we are able to reserve a private transfer.
By Train: Arriving at the central station of Santa Maria Novella, you can easily reach the hotel on foot. Exit the station to the right side, at the foot of the steps cross over the pedestrian crossing and turn left, continue in Via Santa Caterina di Siena until reaching the traffic lights, cross over the road and continue down Via dell'albero. At the bottom of Via dell'albero, cross over the road and you will find the Grand Hotel Adriatico entrance at about 20 metres on the right hand side.
By Car: Whether travelling from north or south, we recommend exiting the A1 motorway at "Firenze Scandicci" Exit: After the toll gates follow the signs for the city centre, Continue towards the bridge Ponte alla Vittoria, cross the river, once over the bridge turn immediately right following the road that runs alongside of the river, at the first set of traffic lights turn left and continue into Via Maso Finiguerra.
Notice for those guests arriving in Florence by car: In the centre of Florence access and transit is reserved solely for city residents. However it is permitted to tourists to enter into the central area to access the hotels. |
