Florence Airport "Amerigo Vespucci": the Florence airport is located just 3 miles from the center of the town and from Hotel Alba. You can take a taxi or the city shuttle bus which departs every hour from the airport to the SITA bus station (200 m from our hotel).
From the Train Station: arriving at the central railway station "S.Maria Novella", you can easily reach the hotel by foot: exit from the railway station on the right side, to "Via S. Caterina da Siena" and at the crossing light turn left to "Via della Scala". You will find hotel Alba after 100 m on the left side before "Piazza S. Maria Novella".
By Car: follow the direction to central railway station "S.Maria Novella" (You have to come from "Porta al Prato" and then "Via Jacopo da Diacceto") . When you have the station on your left side, turn right to "Via S. Caterina da Siena" and at the crossing light turn left to "Via della Scala". You will find hotel Alba after 100 m on the left side. Car Drivers Advice: everywhere inside the center of Florence parking is reserved to the resident people that have a special permit to be shown on the car. Hotel Alba offers a garage co-operation to be paid separately from the room bill. The car will be taken and delivered at the hotel, without an extra charge. |
