I actually forgot the directions so called up Alberghino and Signora Ronconi Gentili gave me very helpful indications. She was extremely friendly and welcoming and I knew I was going to have a very pleasant stay!

Alberghino was definitely better than I expected, and excellent value for money. The room was spacious, well equipped, very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.

I was very impressed by the 'rapporto prezzo qualita'' and will definitely return to Alberghino and recommend it -- and your website -- to my friends. It's been a long time since I've had such a charming host (Signora Letizia Ronconi Gentili) and delightful (and very reasonably priced!) accomodation in such a popular city.

Very clean, comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated, fully equipped, retaining character and style but with modern facilities, and very friendly and helpful hosts. Much better than a hotel!

My hostess Letitiza, was both warm and welcoming and made my stay in Firenze most pleasant. She arranged tickets to the Ufizzi and the Academie and then gave me a thorough orientation of Florence.
Her establishment and her time made me feel at home in this beautiful city.

A pleasant and most welcome home, not just a hotel, where the city and the great beauty of Florence is only minutes away. Worth the money I spent and I would recommend it to everybody travelling to Florence.

Arrival experience was wonderful, the owner of the B&B was there to meet and greet us and spend a significant amount of time directing us to the sights etc. It was a true delight to be greeted in this manner and Letizia was wonderful. We had a fabulous stay.

The room was in a converted master bedroom from an old elegant appartment, complete with beautifully tiled floor, decorated 12ft ceilings, couch, armchair, fridge/minibar.
All in all the room was easily superior to the 3 4-star hotels we also stayed in during this trip.
The breakfast was a number a breakfast items available in the room from the cleaners the day before. This may not be to everyones liking, but we really enjoyed the freedom that afforded us, we could have breakfast whenever we wanted it, without getting dressed. The selection of items was fine.

The only differences from a 4-star hotel are that there was no reception/restaurant and that the breakfast was in-room items.
Excellent value, well beyond what I would expect from a B&B.

Overall, my stay was pleasant and the host very helpul. She actually helped me carry my luggage (there is no lift).

The accomodation is beatutiful and extremely clean. The downside is that the coffee machine is a bit difficult to use. Also, once the keys are handed to you, you have no contact with the host until your departure. However, she can be reached by cell at any time (in case you have any questions, or need help). Also, the host is able to make reservations for museums, etc.

Also, she was kind enough to order a taxi and once again, helped with the luggage!

Beautiful, spacious, clean, quiet, and very central. It was worth the money. Close to main tourist attractions (10 minutes max by bus). In addition, it is a 10 minute walk from the train station S.M. Novella (exactly as stated on the website).

The instructions regarding where the B&B was actually located were a little hazy. All it gave was the address and the words '200 m from the train station.' You may want next time to include a bit more detail on the map as the one I received only showed the immediate area surrounding the B&B and did not show the train station as well. (Which would have been helpful in getting my bearings.)

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Alberghino. Our host was incredibly nice and went out of her way to ensure that we were happy.

She worked around our schedule and helped us check get the check out paper work down the day before we left. (We were going to leave early that morning.)

Great place: big clean comfortable well- decorated room.
A lot of road construction going on, which tended to force us generally to go places by walking right past the train station; not the most pleasant - but convenient from transportation point of view.
Breakfast reflected apparent Italian attitude towards breakfast: everything sweet (too sweet). It was left pre-packaged in the room, which was convenient (and helped our independence). But even the prepackaged cereal was generally the heavily pre-sweetened US variety. This is not as much a complaint as a comment on a difference in culture and taste.
We would stay there again.

Elegant and comfortable living with a very friendly and helpful hostess.Very clean. You really felt at home there. About 10 minutes walk to the historical centre. A big supermarket, restaurants and cafés quite close. We would recommend it.
