This hotel is a little out of the centre of Firenze but nothing too far. Cost €12 5n a taxi from the train station. ... The only comment is that the pool was not available at the time we visited. It would have been useful to have the months of the year that the pool is available on your web site. ... Apart from the fact that hotels in Europe are way too expensive. ... The bus number to get back to the hotel. I think is was 14? ... Probably the best hotel we stayed at in Europe as it was spacious and did not cost too much.

We phoned the hotel and they gave us directions which were excellent. ... Pool wasn't great- quite small and lots of insects!! room we had was superb, really big and very clean with great bath and shower room. ... location- you should state that although its just outside centre it is only a 5min taxi ride or 10 minute bus journey. i was expecting the hotel to be much further out than it actually was.
... ideal.

Excellent - guests should be reminded that in Italy passports are required at check-in. We had our's, but were staying in a privately rented flat and might have left them there. ... Thoroughly recommend this hotel. Excellent value - friendly and courteous staff. Park there safely after very easy access to the hotel from the autostrada. A taxi is only Euro 10 into centre of Florence. It is also a pleasant, safe walk along the river. There are frequent buses I understand. ... Yes - I had to ring them to find out how difficult/easy it would be to reach the centre, and how expensive. See my comments above. ... Ideal if you are arriving by car. Saves the hassle of driving in the centre. Very quiet with excellent spacious accommodation.

A good description made the hotel easy to find. The hotel has a nice and safe privat parking. ... A very nice hotel with quality rooms with a balcony overlooking the river Arno. Walking distance to the historical centre of Florence and easy to find the way out of Florence when travelling by car. ... As a quiet an nice hotel with a great location.

I arrived early and found that my room was not yet ready. However I was very well treated with a complimentary welcome in the bar ... The location was perfect for me being right next to the river and although its position to the city centre required a 35 minute walk it suited my purposes well. The staff were more than helpful and my stay was more like moving home temporarily than yet just another hotel ... After being there for 2 days I decided to extend my stay for a further 5 nights. Also they facilitated me in locating another hotel for my last 2 nights which was located near Pisa where I finally flew from. ... I can only re-confirm my comments in the rest of the survey. It was a very relaxing place to stay and had much more of a home feel to it that just another hotel ... Perfect location and like going home from home

Genrally excellent ... We had an issue with an ant infestation which was dealt with well by the staff, however I recieved no compensation for this. otherwise excellent, great food. ... You should promote the room sizes and riverside location more. Would stay again ... Great character, although further from the centre than I thought.

Great. ... Although situated on a very busy street, our room in the back facing the river was quiet and we slept well. ... We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Alle Ville Sul'Arno very much. The hotel is not within easy walking distance from downtown Florence, and riding the bus was sometimes uncomfortable. However, we enjoyed being away from the center and the accompanying crowds, and we enjoyed relaxing by the swimming pool after a long hot day in the city. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was good at the hotel restaurant, and included a wonderful breakfast. ... See previous comments. The hotel is a renovated older villa, tastefully redone.

The service in the restaurant was awful and the breakfast did not have the level for a 4 star hotel
The rooms are very nice.
The receptionist was very nice and helpful, but the other staff was very unfriendly.
