Altoviti Apartments are cosy flats in downtown Florence, perfectly equipped for a brief or a longer stay.
The flats are situated in one of the ancient side streets of Via Tornabuoni,
2 minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio and 3 minutes to the Cathedral. (photo apt. Due)

You reach apts Uno (1) and Due (2) by going up 24 steps, and apt Tre (3) is just a few steps away; there is no elevator. All flats have a cooking corner (Due is the most equipped) and air con. In Apartment Uno (photo) and Due there is even a fireplace for romantic winter evenings (photo).

Via delle Terme is, from a historical point of view, one of the most interesting of Florence city centre, as archaeological diggings have revealed the existence of Roman thermae (thermal baths). These were destroyed during the barbaric invasions and later by some rich and noble families of the Middle Age and Renaissance: to show their economic and political power, those merchants and nobles built their own towers over the thermae, towers that were regularly destroyed with the change of every government.
