From the Airport (15 minutes by car): Follow the signs from the airport to the city centre through Via di Novoli. Once on Via di Novoli, follow directions for "Centro-Viali di Circonvallazione" until you reach Viale Belfiore. After Porta al Prato (large medieval gate on your left) turn left following signs for "Centro". When you reach the river bank turn left along the enbankment, left again in Via Magenta, then right (Via Montebello), right (Via Curtatone) and left on the enbankment. At the second bridge (Ponte alla Carraia) turn right and cross it. Turn left on the embankment, left on the bridge and as soon as you reach Piazza S. Trinita turn right in Via delle Terme.
If you don't have a car it's much easier: there is a bus that drives you straight to the train station. Then follow the instructions underneath.
From the train station (5-10 minutes on foot): exit the station from right (with your back to the trains), turn right after the lights (Via S. Caterina da Siena) and then left in Via della scala. When you reach Piazza S. M. Novella go straight (Via del Sole), and then right (Via dei Tornabuoni). When you are in Piazza S. Trinita, turn left in Via delle Terme. |
