Location, Location, location. A few yards from one of three taxi stands in the city. Very quiet.

Perfect. There was a grocery, a great little restaurant - Trattoria Nan, a butcher shop, and a market square within a block. The Ufitzi was 2 blocks away, the Veccio bridge was a block away. I will stay there the next time.

We had a mobile contact number and so were able to arrange check in time with no problems. The host, Elena, also spoke excellent english and was very welcoming.

It was a very comfortable apartment with an excellent location. It was in the heart of the historical district well within walking distance to all the sites as well as the train and bus stations. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

We arrived later than expected due to a train strike. Our mobiles weren't working in Italy so it was impossible to get in touch with the host. When we arrived at the apartment we were worried that no-one would be there to meet us (it was now hours later than we had originally said). The host had left a key with a reliable person who in turn met us to hand the key over. It all went very smoothly!

The apartment was very central which was handy. It was clean and tidy and an ideal size for two people. The only thing that put us off a little was how dark the apartment was. No matter how sunny outside, we always had to have the lights on which was a shame. Didn't put us of too much though as we would probably use the apartment again!

Negative - Not a very bright and airy apartment.
Positive - Incredibly central, great restaurants nearby, friendly staff, would stay there again!

We received a warm welcome, an excellent introduction to the apartment & a contact mobile number in case of problems.

We were generally delighted with our stay &, as fairly frequent visitors to Florence, we will stay there again if we decide on an apartment rather than a hotel.
The only small things lacking, in our view, were a couple of kitchen utensils [kettle, cafetiere etc.] & an English language news channel such as BBC or CNN.

No problems. A taxi was called for us & it arrived in a few minutes.

We think the location is terrific - so central but also reasonably quiet at night. We know the area since we have stayed previously at both the Porta Rossa & the Berchielli hotels which are very close to the apartments.

Welcoming, comfortable, private, quiet & a great location within walking distance of most of the sights, restaurants, shops etc. in Florence.

The department is beautiful and well- functioning. The bed is comfortable and there is a nice fire-place. The location is superb in the centro storico. The river Arno is behind the corner.

The location is excellent - it really cannot be beat. The side street the apartment is located on is very quiet, especially at night, but minutes to everything (and everyone, it seems) on foot.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Florence. Not only was it great to be so central to everything at such a resonable price, but having an apartment, rather than a hotel room to go back to at the end of the day was the best part. At the end of a holiday with lots of running around, it was nice to 'nest' and be able to have a picnic dinner and Italian wine in front of the fireplace, then walk around the corner, pick up a gelato and walk along the Arno.

The apartment was very spacious and quiet. There was everything we needed, including the iron + board, hairdryer, washing machine and dishwasher.

Easy to leave, we just left the keys on the table.

There is a washing machine in the apartment. The shower was large and functional. We had no hot water one evening, but it was not a big problem. The owner tried to fix it though.

My arrival was a pleasant experience. As I had used this site before, I knew that this was not a normal hotel with reception 24 hours a day, I had made arrangements with the owner to call upon arrival at the airport and arrange key pick up.

Facilities were as stated. Apartment was clean. Apt #1 was facing the street and thus traffic in the morning could be noisy for the light sleeper. The other two apts face the back and are likely to be quieter. Services were mostly not included as stated and as expected, which is great if you would like to have a true Florence experience in an apartment.

Excellent location though air conditioning could be better and kitchen facilities more comprehensive. Towelling was rather flimsy. It would also be better if there were adequate supplies of basics including toilet rolls and hand soap and cooking items such as pepper etc.

Accomodation was great , however due to a mix up we got Apartment 1 rather than 2. This was only an issue due to us having 2 young children and the fact Apartment 1 had an attic area for our bed from which the children could fall.
We managed to resolve this by blocking it off.

Right in the middle of all the attractions. Easy walk from the Train Station SMN even with 2 young children and luggage!
