By car
From the A1 motorway, exit at 'Firenze Nord' and follow the signs for the 'Ospedale Careggi' hospital (a long alley called Viale Guidoni will take you to a bridge, then turn right and left at the lights; there's a cinema on the opposite corner: that is where you have to turn left). Just after the railway bridge, in Piazza Dalmazia, turn right and then left at the second traffic-light. In Piazza Tanucci turn left and drive straight on until the next square, Piazza Leopoldo. Turn left in the middle of the square and follow the traffic until you see an ice-cream shop ("Baroncini"), then turn right in Via Mercati (second street on the right). At the top of the street, turn left and you are in Via dei Cappuccini. Keep driving: on your right a gate indicates nr.6; follow the bend and stop at the next gate: here we are!
By train
If you arrive to S. Maria Novella train station, get out on your left (with your back at the trains) and take bus n.4. on the other side of the street. Ask the driver to let you off at the "Ingegneria University" stop. Walk backwards on the bus route for about 20 metres and you'll find us.
If you arrive to Rifredi or Campo di Marte train stations, the besr thing to do would be to take a taxi here. Otherwise, you can take a bus and reach the main station (Santa Maria Novella), then follow the instructions above. You need to take bus nr.14 from Rifredi station, and 17 from Campo di Marte station.
By airplane
At Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport you can either take a taxi to get here (it costs about 10 euro), or you will find a shuttle bus that takes to Santa Maria Novella main train station. Once you are there you can take bus nr.4 on the right side of the station (the same side where you'll get off the shuttle). Ask the driver to let you off at the "Ingegneria University" stop; walk backwards on the bus route for about 20 metres and you'll find us.
By public transportation
On both sides of Santa Maria Novella main train station there is a busstop of nr.4. It takes about 15 minutes to reach us: ask the driver to let you off at the "Ingegneria University" stop, then walk backwards on the bus route for about 20 metres and you'll find us. | | |
