The owner was waiting for us on our arrival at the apartment and was very helpful, explaining where the local bus stops were and supermarkets, etc.

We were delighted with the apartment and would recommend anyone to stay there. It was very large and spacious and clean and had everything that we needed. On top of all that there was a very nice restaurant/bar just below the apartment.

The check out was very straightforward, we just left the key for the owner and the cleaner came in to clean up.

Its about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Florence but its a nice walk along the river.

Lovely big apartment, right by the river, quite easy to get to see all the highlights of Florence.

The owner had given us his personal mobile phone number and we were able to alert him of our slightly later arrival. This was extremely helpful and made our delay less stressful.

Only one minor problem. There was someting wrong with the water heating system and the showers were cold !

The apartment was much bigger than we had expected and we hadn't realised there was a separate dining/kitchen room. It was very good. Towels were also provided and I'm not sure this was on the website but it saved us bringing our own towels.

Very good - would definitely recommend it to friends.
