For those coming without a car, there are bus lines that will take them into the centre of Florence.The centre can be reached in 5 minutes by bus or taxi from Porta Romana. It takes about 20 minutes to arrive on foot at Piazzale Michelangelo with a pleasant stroll along the tree lined avenues. The Highway for Siena and the motorway can be reached in about 10 minutes by car, without having to cross the town. |

By Car: If you are travelling to the residence from out of town, exit the A1 (Milan-Rome) Motorway at the "Firenze-Certosa" Toll gate. Follow the signposts for the centre of Florence. Drive 100 metres and take Via Borelli on the left after the fifth traffic light. You will find the Argentiere B&B at number 8.
By Train: Stazione Santa Maria Novella, then follow the instructions below.
By Taxi: Give the taxi driver the address. From the (Santa Maria Novella Trainstation) station it costs about 9 euro from the Firenze airport about 15 euro.
By Bus: Catch the Number 11 ATAF Bus from Piazza Santa Maria Novella in the direction of the Poggio Imperiale. Get off at the third stop of Via del Gelsomino. |
