We really enjoyed the fact that the hotel was on a relatively quiet street, especially at night time. The hotel's location was ideal being that it was down the street from the Duomo and close proximity to most sights. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each day.

We enjoyed the privacy and quiet, calm atmosphere of the hotel. We would recommend this place for people who are looking for a calm place to relax after a long day of sight seeing. Not recommended for those seeking to meet others and socialize. You can spend your entire stay without meeting the other guests, if you so choose.

Tastefully decorated little hotel on a quiet street just off the main Duomo plaza. Friendly service, clean rooms, and complimentary breakfast to boot!

very nice-very beautiful room-much comfort-we enjoyed the breakfast very much on the terrace every morning and there was food enough!-the service of the lady in the breakfastroom was excellent-the staff was very personal against us during our stay-we will recommand the hotel to our friends!!

I booked this hotel only 1 day in advance and
when we arrived they were happily waiting to
greet us however they had no room for us.
Apparently two other people had the same
experience and had booked last minute
reservations online when the hotel was
already booked. This hotel staff had spent
the day finding us alternative accommodations
in Florence during a particularly busy
holiday weekend. The hotel they booked us in
was further from the center of town but a
comfortable walk and had a lovely room with
private bath. We were very happy with the
accommodations. Hotel Delle Arte paid for a
cab to take us to the other hotel and moved
our car to a secure parking garage for us to
pick up the next day at our convenience. We
paid the bill with Hotel Delle Arte at the
stated rate and they took care of the other
facility. They couldn't have been more
helpful. They even helped my daughter with
the train schedule to return to Siena where
she is studying.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect hotel; the room was beautiful, the breakfasts were delicious, and the staff provided exceptional, friendly service at all times.

A little 'gem' in the heart of historical Florence; definitely one of the highlights of our vacation to Italy. If you are ever in Florence, this is the place to stay.

There was one woman in particular who was VERY helpful!! She assisted in changing our museum reservation times, and in calling the airline for us - there was quite a language barrier on our end, she made it so easy!

The location is superb. Having traveled for 3 weeks prior and finding a laundromat across the street was great!

my only comment is the street it was on had some drinking 'out of control' people hanging around(felt very safe in our little hotel!)..the location to see the tourist sights was good

When we arived we found we had brouyght with us the room-key from out previous hotel. The staff here willingly took on the task of telephoning the previous hotel and then posting the key back to them. Excellent and friendly.

Fantastic hotel.
Pictures in your website help a lot, in order to choose exactly the style of hotel one is searching for. It's nice when you can choose by seeing. Then it's difficult to be disappointed.

This hotel is well-situated although a bit tricky to find. One-way streets make driving very difficult.
The staff were most extremely helpful, courteous and frindly.
The room was clean and most comfortable, as was the bathroom. (A fantastic shower!)
We enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, making our stay even more personal and enjoyable. The room was clean and spacious with a nice view of the Duomo - however, having a room facing the street meant that we had quite a bit of noise some nights. Regardless, it was worth it to have nice big windows!

Lovely! It is in an ideal location, very central and convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful so much so that you feel like you are staying at a friend's place. I would recommend it.

The train station is pretty close to the Hotel and it could be walked if you want to save some money.

Request a room away from the street. It is a bit loud on the street at night. The Breakfast room is very nice, but it is quiet. Would have been nice to see a little more activity in there. The hotel is small (only 9 rooms) so it is more like a B&B.

The hotel is very nice, but small. It is more like a Bed and Breakfast. The location is very convenient and all of the major sites are an easy walk. The rooms are not huge, but good size and they are new and clean. The price is also very reasonable compared to other places we stayed in Italy.

The room was clean and modern. However, the bed was hard as a rock. When I asked about moving to another room to get a more comfortable bed, I was told that all the beds were the same. We found the beds very uncomfortable. Otherwise, the staff was great, as was the location.

You might mention the very firm mattresses. My husband and I both have weak backs, and these beds were definitely a problem for us.

The women at the desk was very nice and very helpful throughout our stay.

Shower facility was fair at best....very very low water pressure and it was hard not to get water all over the floor. Also air condition was not working all that great.

I left my sport coat at the hotel(in my room) at the time of check out. When I called back many hours later the person at the desk knew of the fact that I had left it and has mailed the coat back to me in the States. How could that have been any better!!

The hotel has a co-operation with a nearby garage where you can park your car. It would be good to have instructions how to get there on the web (or make these instructions more obvious if they do exist already).

We had a delightful stay and I would stay there again and recommend this hotel to my friends. I think it is a great value, given its location within Florence.

A quiet and intimate hotel that is centrally located with friendly, English speaking staff. The hotel has a lovely breakfast room and terrace. The rooms are very simply decorated, but very clean and unusually spacious.

the room I got actually was not quiet at all.
there was noise from the breakfast room upstairs and from the street all night.

I suggest that you explain the relative position of the addresses '38' vs. '38A'.I had some difficulty in finding the hotel.
