 We are located in the Santa Croce district, one of oldest quarters of Florence, a few steps from all the monuments and museums (Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi, Galleria dell'Accademia, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, via Tornabuoni). The B&B is on the forth floor of the building at via Verdi 12 (please note that the sign at the door is very little and hard to be seen from the sidewalk).

Coming by air:
From Amerigo Vespucci airport (Peretola) take the shuttle bus line n. 62 ("Volainbus") up to Santa Maria railway station. Once there take the electric bus line A or line 14 up to Piazza Santa Croce. From the bus stop turn right into Via Verdi and you will find "A Teatro" B&B at number 12 (fourth floor).
Coming by train:
From Santa Maria Novella railway station take the electric bus line A or line 14 up to via Ghibellina. From the bus stop turn right into Via Verdi and you will find "A Teatro" B&B at number 12 (fourth floor).
Coming by car:
A1 Highway exit Florence Sud.Follow towards the city centre up to Lungarno Moro, then Lungarno del Tempio. Turn right at the traffic lights into Viale G. Amendola, follow the roadsigns for the "Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale". Continue all straight on and you will arrive into Corso Tintori. At the traffic lights turn right into via Verdi and you will find us at number 12.
Please note that we are situated in a ZTL area: this means that it is an area with limited car traffic access (only residents). Only at certain hours of the day cars are allowed into this area of the city. There is a garage on the ground floor of the building. |
