Tee arrival was very impressed, even the relatives of the house could not fluently speaking English. They were all welcome.

The House was very nice and comfort. The house was very tidy and well decorated. The owner has a very good stylish and modern with the traditional Europian style. We are very happy about the house.

We went 5 persons instead of 4 from booking and Bruno provided us 2 rooms(3+2)and charged us fairly at rate per person. Moreover, we paid when we firstly arrived and we got special offer 5% reduction when paid by cash. So, we are very happy about this.

On the same buidling, 2 B&B were stayed, so we quite confused when we do search from google map. But finaly, there was no problem at all.

Very central accomodation and close to rail and bus station.

We found Bruno very helpful with regard to information requested ie. where to eat, what to see, travel and tours. Always available to assist. Also very kindly delivered champagne as he noted that one of the party had a birthday on our arrival day. Would highly recommend and have already given details to work colleagues and friends.

Lovely, clean, charming room with antique furniture. Very comfortable bed with a wonderful warm shower and cozy towels. I'd recommend this place highly.

They should get their pastries from the bakery down the street. Packaged pastries aren't worth the calories when one can have fresher goodies made that morning.

I found the accommodation to be just what I expected. The people were very friendly - I got a friendly welcome, even though I arrived quite late due to flight delay. The owners were more than helpful, and went out of their way to find me a map with bus routes. I enjoyed it very much. One thing though: with such a terrific bakery a couple of doors down, it would be so much nicer to have some fresh bread for breakfast instead of pre-packed croissants!

We appreciated the ability to make ourselves a cup of tea free of charge whenever we wanted it. Also Bruno had a fridge and drinks for purchase at very reasonable prices. Lots of books available to borrow. I borrowed several of his books on Florence.

The Badia Guest House is very centrally
located in Florence. Our guidebook
suggested several restaurants that we
literall across the street from it. The
accomodations were neat and clean and
convenient. On the other hand, we were
assured a room with a balcony and
did not get it. Instead, we got a very
small and dark room. Although the
guesthouse and room were neat and clean, the
owners used a very heavy air freshener which
we had to remove from our room.

The Badia is a quaint and centrally located
bed and breakfast in the heart of Florence.
It's only a five minute walk from most major
attractions. Although there were other
guests there at the time, we did not see
them. The owner was helpful and
accomodating. The clean rooms were a little
small and scented with a very strong air
freshener that might bother sensitive
people.

We were made to feel very welcome and Bruno was extremely helpful. The room was comfortable.Our only negative comment was that given that the amount paid was the highest on our three week holiday,we felt that the quality of the breakfast was not up to standard. The selection was a bit limited and the pre-packed toasts, rolls etc where un-appertising.

Signor Bruno was a most gracious and attentive host to us and our children. His recommendations for local 'trattoria' were wonderful; good food, friendly service, and good value.

A perfect location on a quiet street 'nel centro di Firenze.' Easy walking distance to many of the essential treasures of the city. A little gem.

WE HAD TO HAVE BATHROOM
'EN-SUITE', BUT OLNY BATHROOM ACROSS CORRIDOR WAS OFFERED.

ROOM NR. 3 IS VERY SMALL, THE DOOR IS THIN AND ALL NOISES FROM OUTSIDE ARE HEARD BEGINNING 06.00 AM.
THE MATRESS OF THE BED IS AS HARD AS I HAD IN A STUDENT HOSTEL 25 YEARS AGO (MAYBE SOMEBODY LIKES IT).
IN OUR 4 DAYS LINENS AND TOWELS WERE NOT CHANGED.
THE BREAKFEST IS REALLY SPARTAN.
