Ideal location as you are 5 minutes walk from most attractions compared to very close to some and far from others.
Excellent views of the Ponte Vecchio bridge and overlooking the green side of Florence i.e Boboli Gardens direction.
Relaxing hotel with good bus links.

While breakfast was announced to be until 10 a.m., we found that the food was not replenished after 9:30 a.m. There was no cheese, or meat. When we came early, it was fine, but after 9:30 it was sparse

that the hotel was conveniently located for the places we wanted to visit.

We were fortunate in having a room with a balcony, which we very much enjoyed even though it overlooked a parking area. Mornings occasionally started quite early with trash pickups, but We were able to walk easily to everything we needed and would certainly stay there again. And they even managed to serve a full breakfast including coffee when the power (and water) was off in the entire country!

The hotel was nice - except not maintained very well. The water in the bath tub would not drain. Someone was sent to fix it but it still was not draining properly. Something else was not there (cannot remember).

Nice location with friendly staff. Room a bit barren, but it had a wonderful view of the Arno. We could walk everywhere, but there was a bus nearby when we wanted it. There are pleasant restaurants in the area.

We were given a very good, spacious room facing the river, despite the fact that this normally involves a supplement.

Room was impeccably clean and well presented, especially the large bathroom. The spare blankets were appreciated in January. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was perfectly adequate if not exciting (the breakfast room staff were particularly pleasant).

I was disappointed to find that no tea or coffee could be served until 7am. My elderly mother and myself had an early departure but could only drink water from the drinks cabinet at double the price one might pay in the supermarket - I thought this was mean spirited

you should mention that you get ONLY one cup of coffee at breakfast - after this you pay extra - this ruined my breakfasting experience as I eat very little but drink 2-3 cups of coffee - I thought this was ungenerous to say the least - I had visited Florence two months prior to this trip and although the last hotel was not as aesthetically pleasing, the services were better
