Soggiorno Battistero is ideal for those who enjoy personal service and wish to be absolutely central to the most important galleries and monuments that Florence has to offer. Most of our guest rooms overlook the piazza, offering our guests one of the most singular views in the world. |
The Bed and Breakfast is situated in an historic 13th century palazzo, the Orfanotrofio del Bigallo, whose name and insignia can still be seen at the entrance. |
On the ground floor is the Museo del Bigallo, housing works by Ridolfo Ghirlandaio, Bernardo Daddi and others. Adjoining the palazzo is the Loggia del Bigallo, built in 1352-1358, with it's beautiful 14th and 15th century frescoes, sculptures and bas reliefs. |
