By Plane: The Peretola or Amerigo Vespuccio airport is only 6,5 km from Dany House Due, in a region known as Sesto Fiorentino. This airport receives daily flights from Paris, Madrid, Barcelona and many other European cities, while domestic services from Rome and other sites within Italy also land here. There are buses to the central station in Florence too.
By Car: Once you leave the airport, continue along Vialle delle Idee and turn left at Via Generoso Patrone. Take Via Madonna del Piano, and after passing the town of Sesto Fiorentino, go along the first exit at a roundabout, into Via Pier Paolo Pasolini. Turn left into Via del Termine, then right again and continue along Viale 11 Agosto. You will arrive in Florence, where you must take Via Sestese and turn right at Via Reginaldo Giuliani. Then, take your left at Via Vittorio Locchi, and once again in Via delle Panche. Turn right at Via Giulio Caccini and at a roundabout, go along the second exit, Viale Giovan Battista Morgagni. Turn right at Largo Piero Palagi and again at Via Taddeo Alderoti. Finally, turn left into Via Guido Banti and you will see the bed & breakfast at number 14. (This journey will take you around 15 minutes)
From the reception desk at Dany House, you will have around 5 minutes by car: go along Via Bolognese, turn right at Via 20 Settembre and then continue along Via Vittotio Emmanuele II and Via Celso. Take your right at Via Taddeo Alderotti and again your right at Via Guido Banti.
By Train: From Peretola airport, take an interurban bus to Santa Maria Nouvella central station in downtown Florence. Right in front of it, look for the bus stop of line number 14, and get off at the second stop of Viale Morgagni. Once you are on the street, you will have to walk around 100 metres: take Via Garbo and then Via Guido Banti.
Moreover, if you happen to land in Rome, at any station in the city you can get on trains from the Eurostar line to Florence: this trip takes around 1 hour and a half. |
