Breakfast is the main service provided at Dany House, as it seems to bear in mind the exhausting, fascinating days you will spend in Florence: a complete first meal made up of milk, jam, honey, chocolate, biscuits and croissants, among many other dishes, is set every morning so that you regain energies for a day at museums or walking around the historical centre.

Juices are also served in summer, as well as the typical hot beverages of a continental buffet. For the rest of the meals, there are restaurants, bars and cafeterias in the nearby area, or you could buy a snack to indulge in under the sun at the Giardino de`ll Orticultura, a really huge garden where you can lunch or picnic with great views of the city. Another option is to lunch at a small restaurant in the entrance to the building, where guests of the Dany House are granted a special pricing.

The reception is open up to 10pm, but you should not worry about getting back from your night outings early, as the managers will give you keys to the house. In the area besides the front desk there is a computer available: from 6pm to 10pm, access to Internet is completely free. If you come by car, you will be advised to leave your car at the public garage "Parterre", only 200 metres from the inn, where you must pay an extra cost.

You will find easy access to the historical centre in Florence, either by bus (5 minutes, approx.) or on foot (10 minutes). Once you reach it, plan your sightseeing tours carefully, as there are multiple sites to visit, galleries to get lost in, and churches where to admire the Renaissance legacy. At the Santa Maria di Fiore cathedral, with its characteristic Duomo, take a look at the façade in Florentine gothic style, the Pietá by Michelangelo and the Baptistery right in front of the temple. Then, lovers of art cannot miss some of the crucial works, gathered at the fascinating Galleria degli Uffizi: Sandro Botticelli`s "The Birth of Venus" from 1486, and "Portrait of a Young Man", from 1469, are just two of the obligated stops in the exposition areas.
