 Even though Galileo 2000 provides a bed & breakfast service, there are many other facilities to take into account. First of all, in the mornings breakfast in served at a common area on the first floor, or at the guests` rooms if they request so. It contains coffee, milk, juices, water, teas, yoghurts, cappuccino, side by side with cornflakes, biscuits, croissants, cheese, honey, marmalade and jams. |
 The reception is open from 7am to 7pm with staff speaking Italian, English and Spanish. There is also a patio for summer breakfast and magazines and newspapers available for the visitors. Tuscan dinners can be organised on request at the dining room of the property, and you may also take part in sessions of wine, cheese or oil tasting. |

| Piazza San Firenze is placed right behind Piazza Signoria, one of the most visited squares in Florence. Palazzo Vecchio is one of the attractions here, built by Arnolfo di Cambio between 1298 and 1314. You will be able to visit the small cell where Cosimo de Medici and Savonarola were kept prisoners during 45 years before being sentenced to death. At 5 minutes walking you will reach the Duomo and you must also check Galleria dell`Accademia, Galleria degli Uffizzi and Galleria Palatina. |
