The host is very very nice and helpful. He greeted us warmly, gave us a pleasant feeling of friendliness. The in-house decoration is also very good, actually, much better than our expectation. We just like back to the sweet home.

Picaro Inn is in an excelent location: close to everything. Pepe, the owner is outstanding. He's efficient, helpful, professional AND he's also fun, friendly, and quite the character. The rooms are spotlessly clean (we stayed in 2 of the 3 rooms). Excellent value and we'd go again.

We really enjoyed the Italian hospitality given to us from Pepe. He made us feel right at home. There is no signage for the Picaro Inn, but we only had to ask the man at the cafe next door if we were in the right place.

We are so happy that we chose Picaro Inn for our honeymoon. It exceeded our expectations, the room was very well decorated and in excellent condition the room was tidyed every day to a high standard. The Ensuite bathroom was big and nicely furnished. The Host was absolutely brilliant, he couldn't do enough to help us. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Picaro inn to anyone.

Pepe was not there when we arrived which was quite annoying since we had a long travel day, but was very gracious and accomodating when he showed up.

The french bed was a bit uncomfortable for two people, probably better suited for just one person.
The owner Pepe was a colorful Italiano!!!!
Quite a unique individual whose conversations made our stay more interesting and comical!!!

Small room and bath but excellent location and great value for the price. Pepe was also very helpful in suggesting restaurants to eat at and made reservations for us to the Uffizi museo as well!

Having stayed in Firenze many times over the last three years (In difirent classes of accommodation), the Picaro Inn has been the best of the lot. The building may look insignificant from the front, but the cosiness of the accommodation and the absolute centrality of the location make this a winner !
Our host, Giuseppe, welcomed us into his home, and we were treated like family guests, as opposed to paying straneiri ! Breakfast, was a help-yourself to the wide range of fruit, juices, meats and cakes. Additionally, we were told to eat our fill whenever we wanted.
This is how accommodation should be provided and presented - no stuffiness or rigid riles, just friendly warmpth and cosy rooms. I have no hesitation in recommending the Picaro Inn. 10 out of 10 !

I would say - Andy, would i send you to a bad place? Nope, have the best in Firenze for the best value. Enjoy !

We had a much nicer stay in Florence because of the amazing customer service we received from our host Guiseppe. He recommended restaurants and areas to see and helped us organise a bus back to the airport.

we weren't sure how we were going to get back to Pisa Airport as we came to Florence by train but Guiseppe sorted it all out for us.

I think what fabulous value for money it was. Also that there is internet in your room and that the place is absolutely central to everything and the owner is the most helpful person we encountered on our travels. Customer service is his top priority.

The only place to stay in Florence. An incredibly spacious room with internet on-hand was so useful when you are travelling. A friendly owner makes all the difference and it's the kind of place you will always remember.

GIUSEPPE ('PEPE')IS A VERY NICE GUY: HE WAS A GREAT HELP ADVISING US OF THE GREATEST PLACES IN AND AROUND FIRENZE.

It definately was the best 'welcoming' I have ever received at any establishment be it hotel or B&B. It was a warm and informative welcome.

You don't get a proper breakfast as you would imagine. There's a common fruit basket and fridge full with milk and juices as well as assorted pastries and biscuits, but it's kind of self service.

A wonderful place to stay right in the city center, very convenient to visit Florence. The manager makes you feel like being at home. I'd strong recommend this place to stay. We'd like to go back we loved it!

A sign or some kind of notice on the building for the B&B would help once we found it.

All went well and a taxi was soon arrived to take us to the train station.

The inn was well maitained and comfortalbe. Maybe some type of towel rack and soap dish in the bathroom would be nice, but I wounldn't hold that against the inn.

There were not surprises, it was exactly as represented. It was comfortable. We were made to feel at home. The location was perfect. I would stay there again.
