From the Florence Airport Amerigo Vespucci:
The centre of Florence can be reached by taxi in about 15 minutes. Bus service is available through Sita-Ataf "Volainbus" connecting the airport to the central train station (approx. 25 minutes) and runs approximately every half hour for most of the day. To use the Volainbus you need to buy the ticket either at the news-stand at the airport or on board from the driver. Santa Maria Novella central station is about five minutes on foot from Hotel Tornabuoni Beacci.
By car from motorway:
Highway A1 Milano-Roma: exit at Firenze Certosa. Highway A11 Pisa-Firenze: exit at Firenze Nord. Then follow directions to the city centre. |
