Beautiful hotel,good location,free parking,nice breakfast at the porch,very friendly staf,enjoyed our stay very much.Owner on premisis,helpfull.They helped us with maps,advice,directions etc.

The owner was very kind as we were stuck in Milan for a night due to Alitalia being on strike. We were not charged for the missed night.

Easy to use and detailed listing of accomodation in a specific area - better than searching many different sites.

The accomodation was excellent. The locatation just outside the city provided for a peaceful and very welcoming stay. It was just like being at home!

Like a home away from home. In a quiet location, very friendly people, excellent breakfasts, very relaxing.
Just outside the city with easy transport links or a short walk if wanting.
Definately stay there again.

It is easy to find a hotel in this way and the most handy thing is that one starts communication with the hotel itself. Onecan ask questions easily.

even though i had requested a double bed in the room, the room was prepared with two single beds. was disappointing on arrival and had to request a change.

Nothing on the 'recently renovated' bathrooms. We had an 'open plan' shower which made the rest into a swimming pond. Toilet seat had to be held when sitting down to prevent a slipping off. We had a lot of mosquitoes in the room and the children especially suffered a lot. The beds were good and we had enough space in the room. But the second night was extremely noisy - maybe due to a faulty washing machine next door (I heard people talking ad trying something there for a few hours).

There is this beautiful 'sonic' garden when entering the estate - I believe it has a different heiress, but it is wortwhile looking at. We had a little garden at our room (maybe that's why we had all those mosquitoes) and it gave the children something to run around.

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay close to the old city of Florence I could recommend Villa Betania. It is not in walking distance when carrying luggage since it is situated on a hill, but the walk down to the city is interesting (Gardens of Bobolino).
