Villa Sestini was a beautiful place , a little hard to find but well worth the effort. Signora Rossi was kind and attentive and went well out of her way to make our stay as pleasant and as comfortable as possible. We only wished we could have stayed more than the one night. We telephoned Giovanna and she collected us approx 5 minutes later in Bagno A Ripoli.

A wonderful property and a wonderful hostess. Giovanna was so helpful. She drove us to the bus stop each morning we went into Florence and we rang her when we returned and she came to collect us.

I would estimate the time taken to walk to the nearest bus stop as an energetic 15 minutes walk. Perhaps mention that the local bus takes 45 - 50 minutes to get into Florence.

Wonderful, with breathtaking views. We had spent 1 week in Rome in a damp basement appartment. Villa Sestini was the perfect antidote. We loved it and would have no hesitations about recommending it to anyone. We hope to return, next time maybe hiring a car so we explore the surrounding countryside.

The villa Sestini is a beautiful house with sweeping views of Florence. The host is very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was huge and nicely furnished.
