Very helpful receptionist, no problem what so ever. The staff was eager to help us get comfortable.

The rooms were just perfect. The staff had reserved a table for us at a nice restaurant nearby the first evening. They also were very helpful with describing the most famous part of Florence.

We checked out the night before we left without any problem. The staff also helped us to get a taxi to the airway.

A perfect place to stay in and enjoy the fabuolus athmosphere in Florence. Close to all the sightseeings and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Will definetly stay at Hotel Caravaggio next time I get to Florence.

Arrival was great...I was a little scared since it was my first time in Italy, but the welcoming staff were very nice and gave us a lot of really helpful information. Check-in was easy, no-hassle, and did a lot to calm me down!

Our stay at the hotel was WONDERFUL. Everyone was very polite, the room was excellent, great breakfast, internet access was wonderful too. I can't say enough good things about Caravaggio, I will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Florence! Will be recommending to friends and family as well. Thanks for a great stay!

What makes this hotel outstanding to me is the staff. Everyone is so pleasant, personable and helpful. I was in a room right very near the elevator and breakfast area. Activity outside my room could be heard but the other guests in the hotel were courteous enough to keep their voices low.

Absolutely wonderful, near the train and bus stations which I used for day trips to Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano and Siena. I walked everywhere in Florence and consider the location great. It is right across from a park and I never heard outside noise. I was traveling solo so the room was a great size and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was substantial and very good. Internet access was hit or miss but that was ok. The staff was SUPERB!

There were 3 different receptionists that we dealt with during our stay at the Caravaggio. All 3 were exceptionally polite and extremely helpful at all times.

My only negative comment is that the breakfast
area was close to my room and the noise of
tables being set disturbed me in the early
morning, but I thought this was a small price
to pay for the excellent value of my room and
the overall friendliness and cleanliness of
the hotel. The breakfast buffet was of an
excellent standard.

Perhaps a mention of the possibility of noise
from the breakfast area for the rooms situated
close by on the first floor, would be useful
for those who are sensitive to noise and might

I was in Tuscany for 2 weeks, and I stayed at
Hotel Caravaggio for 1 week and 3 other
places in other cities for the remainder.
Hotel Caravaggio was by far the BEST! I would
definitely reccomend it. Everything was
sooooo great, the rooms and bathrooms were
clean, the front desk people were incredibly
helpful, the internet in each room was free,
the breakfast was delicious...this hotel was
truly wonderful.

I would recommned this hotel. We had a fantastic view from our room of the duomo. The location was very good, close to town but not too expensive. It had a very good breakfast too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Our room was different than those pictures posted on the website. I think we were given a handicapped room as the bathroom was rather large with gripper bars all over. Shower was too small. The biggest disappointment was no view or window to look out of. We actually did have 2 windows, both looking out at the dumpster and another wall in a cut away section of the building.
We opened the window but closed it immediately because of the smell. Also the second window had only sheer curtains on it and the lights from the hall window shone in the room all night, making the room too light to sleep.

I would recomment the hotel based on price and location along with the friendly staff. No frills hotel, but you don't pay for the frills either. Just ask for a room with a view.

My double room for single occupancy was not spacious, but was adequate for one person. In all other respects the room was fine. However, one of my colleagues also had a double room for single occupancy which was more spacious and also had a bath, so it depends on which rooms are allocated, the rooms are individual. We both paid the same rate for different sized double rooms.
All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout.

I would recommend the hotel as a small and friendly hotel. Accommodation clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

I had asked for a quiet triple, but was given a room at the front overlooking the plaza and the street. The room was nice and large and very clean, but noisy. I was told that we were given their best room and that the triples were at the front. It was a very nice room but when I looked at the hotel map later, I saw that there were triples to the back. However, my family liked the size of the room and did not want to move. It was a minor thing as we enjoyed our stay there. The hotel is clean, people friendly, and had a nice breakfast room. The location was good as well. We would recommend it and stay there again.
