We' ve got a warm welcome at casa di Alino and experienced al lot of hospitality. We felt at home and welcome.

We had a wonderful vacation and the staff at casa di Alino helped us with all our questions. They even gave us some advice and had great ideas! I would recommand this place at all my friends! The rooms were clean and very modern (design) decorated. The view at the duomo was fantastic and the location couldn't be better! In the future Alino has plans to give every room its own bathroom. He is constantly thinking how he can make this place even more wonderful!

When we checked out we could leave our bags at the B&B and we discussed an hour to pick them up. When we came back Alino had prepared a coffee for us with cake to say goodbye!

A wonderful place to stay with clean, big rooms that are beautifuly decorated (design). The breakfast was very good. The staff is very friendly and prepared to help you with all your questions. The location with view at the duomo is fantastic. And thanks to the staff (little attentions they do, coffee , cake) you feel wright at home.

The staff went out of their way to be exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The room was beautiful and very clean and well presented. Our disappointment arose because we were under the impression that the bathroom was ensuite but it was actually separate to the room and we had to go through the public areas to access the bathroom.

The rating in 9. reflects the lack of the ensuite bathroom - everything else about the property was exactly as on the website.

Again, the rating for 13. reflects the fact that we had expected an ensuite bathroom.
As a farewell gift we were presented with a bottle of wine, a beautiful and much appreciated gesture.

Both of the people who greeted us were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed talking with them about places to visit and eat within Florence. Very nice, and very accommodating.

I want to thank Casa di Alino for making our stay in Florence great! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and attractive. We were lucky that to not meet many of the other guests during our stay, so the shared shower and toilet were almost always free. The only thing that I would have liked was an elevator. Lugging our suitcases up the three flights was pretty tiring, but understandable due to the age of the building and location.

More specific directions to the door of the B&B. We wandered back and forth several times right in front of the door before seeing it on the name plate. (Example, it's next to the xxx cafe)

Mario, the property owner was wonderful. He was a wonderful addition to our visit. The Casa di Alino was one of our favorite places during our 2+ weeks in Italy.

We couldn't have been more pleased. We really didn't appreciate how centrally located the B&B was to everything in Florence.

We paid cash and left the key as we departed. Mario was fabulous, and we very much enjoyed visiting with him.

The amenities were very complete. Although we never really figured out how to use the TV equipment, but we weren't there for TV.

Colorful, cheerful, clean and central. A short walk to the train station and right on the main piazza of the prettiest church in Italy!

Our stay was nice and Alino was very accomodating especially after an ATM mishap. The location for a tourist could not have been better. The only negative was that there was smoking in the B&B and I think that should be noted on all of your properties. I was under the impression that there was a smoking room, not the entire place.

As stated earlier, I think that your clients should have a clear idea about smoking and pets. Also, there are no phones in the rooms and Alino does not always understand English so receiving messages was a bit difficult. Otherwise, we were pleased with our stay.

I would tell them that it's centrally located to the tourist district and there are all types of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. There is a bit of noise due to the location but the convenience of local makes up for that. We even walked to the train station. It is three flights up, but after the 463 steps in the Duomo (which is directly out your bedroom window)it's nothing!

Room was very clean, view was unbelieveable.
Didn't realize that it was a shared bathroom, but it was fine.

The only thing that caught me by surprise was the fact that the hotel only accepted cash, no credit cards. On the site, when I booked the room it did say they accepted credit cards.

It was a surprised to find out that it was on a third floor and did not have a lift. The climbing was extenuating.

Although they cannot be called misleading, the photos give a very 'sophisticated' impression of the place, as the photographer used 'smart' angles and lighting. More fastidious customers might be a bit disappointed upon arrival. However the sensational location makes up for everything.

They couldn't do VISA payment (The card swipe 'thingy' was in repair...), which they told me the night before we checked out. We agreed on a reduced rate to make up for the commission I had to pay on the cash advance from the local banks.
I still ended up paying slightly more.
(This only refers to the payment procedure. Everything else was fine.)

A stone's throw away from the Battisterio and the dome (stone thrown by a little girl). Great value. Really nice, young hosts for young uncomplicated guests.

It is not clear on the web site that the room has no bathroom (the bathroom is shared).
