Ci ha incontrato Alessandra, una signora molto accogliente e disponibile, con la quale avevo parlato prima e potevo gia' allora apprezzare la sua disponibilita',nonche durante il nostro soggiorno a Firenze sentivo sempre di poter facilmente rivolgermi a lei e avere la sua piena assistenza.

Siamo rimasti molto soddisfati al nostro soggiorno in Casa Carolina, un appartamento posizionato bene al centro storico della citta' cinque minuti a piedi dalla Stazione ferroviaria, molto pulito, arredato con gusto e gestito con affetto dove non mancava niente. Senz'altro e' un appartamento da suggerire agli amici.

We enjoyed our stay and were grateful for the complementary biscuits and bottle of wine.

The apartment was nice and light. Alessandra was helpful and there was useful literature in the apartment regarding Florence, including an Italian/English dictionary. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen as pictured. It was in a noisy area, but we expected that after looking at the pictures on World By.com. It was useful to be in the location and the market near by provided us with much lovely food.

No problem checking out - we just left the keys on the table and closed the door which self locks.

Light, close to all the main landmarks and train station, nicely decorated and we were made welcome by Alessandra's friend who gave us a complimentary bottle of wine & some biscuits - which was a nice gesture.
Alessandra also texted me to check that everything was OK.
Be prepared for the noise in the street as there are a few restaurants near by, a scottish bar and a market, also a bottle bank underneath the windows - but we got used to the noise by the end of the week.
