  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    All accommodations, Check In from 1pm, Check Out before 11am. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    The prices are meant per room per night.
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    Italian breakfast (scone and cappuccino) is included in the price and it is served at the local café downstairs.
  • Is heating included in the price?
    Heating and air conditioning are included in the price.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    Yes, you can settle the bill on arrival.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    We speak Italian, English and French.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    Casa Cimabue is located on the first floor of a 19th building so there is no elevator.

  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    Casa Cimabue is very private, quiet and romantic.
  • Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
    Linens and towels are provided by the house and are included in the price. They are regulary changed every three days or on request.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    The rooms do not not have their own terrace but there is a big, common one where they can relax.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    No, they do not.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    It is not alowed to smoke inside Casa Cimabue but you can smoke on the terrace.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
    Yes, there is a TV in all our bedrooms.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    No, there is not.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    All our bedrooms are provided with a heating and air conditioning device and it is included in the price.
  • Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
    No, there is not.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    Yes, there is a free WI-FI access.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    There is a public swimming pool close to Casa Cimabue. Opening hours change seasonally but you can ask at the reception desk.
  • Is parking or garage available?
    You can park your car outside: tourists staying with us are offered a special price. Sundays and holidays are free of charge. There is also an indoor parking facility nearby but it is for a fee.
  • Where can we rent a car?
    Behind Casa Cimabue there is car rental company.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    Florence airport, Amerigo vespucci, is the nearest airport.
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    We do not but we can arrange a pickup service.
  • Which is the nearest bus-stop?
    The nearest bus stop is 2 minutes walking from Casa Cimabue. Bus no. 14 will take you to the central railway station, Santa Maria Novella, through the city centre.
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    The nearest railway station is Campo di Marte. The Central railway station is Santa Maria Novella.
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    No, there is not.
  • Are pets welcome?
    Sorry, pets are not allowed.
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    No, we do not have a restaurant but there are many close nearby as we are located in the city center.
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    No, unfortunately at the moment it is not possible to connect to the Internet from your room.
