Profile |
"Casa del Garbo" stands in the heart of Florence, in the striking architectural scenery of Piazza della Signoria, facing the Palazzo Vecchio. The property is part of the Uguccioni Palace. Since the 16th century it used to host a nunnery: the Monache degli Angeli, who added to the building the 17th century Annunciation tabernacle ascribed to Matteo Rosselli. |
In this palace we have available 6 apartments, carefully restructured and restored according to the traditional Florentine style and complemented by modern comforts and air conditioning. The apartments are named after important Tuscan personalities of the past, such as Michelangelo Buonarroti, Arnolfo Di Cambio, Cosimo De' Medici, Benvenuto Cellini, Lorenzo il Magnifico and Leonardo da Vinci. There are three floors in the building. The building was once part of an ancient and historical palace. No lift is available. |
