We are located in the area of Florence's main theaters, between the Pergola and Verdi Theaters, with plenty of typical Tuscan restaurants, cafés, wine-bars, and night clubs nearby which make the quarter lively and animated night and day. The entrance on the street is also the entrance to a few other flats.
A few steps away, in Ciompi Square, you will find an antiques market and in Ghiberti Square you will find the Mercato di Sant'Ambrogio, a 19th century food market. In a five minute walk you can reach Piazza Duomo, the Uffizi, the Academy Museum and Santa Croce Church. |

Coming by car
- from South:
From A1 highway take exit Firenze Sud. Follow the signs for Firenze Centro. Cross the river Arno and you will be on the Viali of Circonvallazione. Just before "Piazza Beccaria" at the traffic lights, turn left around the "Archivio di Stato", into Via dell'Agnolo. Go straight till Via Verdi and turn right. Continue until you reach Piazza Salvemini, Via Fiesolana is the street right in front of you. After few meters you can find us on your left hand side at house no.1.
- from North:
From A1 highway take exit Firenze Nord and follow the signs for the city centre "Firenze Centro". Then look for the signs for "Viali of Circonvallazione" until you find Piazza della Libertŕ, Piazza Donatello, and finally "Piazza Beccaria". At the first set of traffic lights after Piazza Beccaria, turn right into Via dell'Agnolo. Go straight till Via Verdi and turn right. Continue until you reach Piazza Salvemini, Via Fiesolana is the street right in front of you. After few meters you can find us on your left hand side at house no.1.
Coming by air
- Airport Amerigo Vespucci of Florence - 5 km far from the city centre. You can reach Casa Rovai by taxi or by bus. The bus will take you to the main railway station (S.M.Novella), from where you can walk or get another bus.
- Airport Galileo Galilei of Pisa - 90 km from Florence. Take the train leaving directly from the airport to S.M.Novella of Florence.
From the railway station (Santa Maria Novella)
- By taxi: you can find a taxi stand in front of the railway station.
- By bus: the bus stops are in front of the railway station. Take the bus number 14 and get off in Via Ghibellina at the corner with Via Verdi. Walk towards Piazza Salvemini.
- On foot: From the station walk in the direction of Piazza del Duomo, along via Cerretani. Walk across Piazza del Duomo and you will find Via dell'Oriuolo. Go straight until you reach Piazza Salvemini, turn left into Via Fiesolana. We are on your left hand side. |
