Breakfast room always available for enjoying goodies purchased at shops/markets and brought back 'home' to enjoy.
Little balcony with cafe table facing inner courtyard for sitting outside.

I called Casa Rovai to tell them what time I would arrive. The woman who answered spoke very good English and was very pleasant. When I arrived with my friends the two people at the desk were very, very helpful and nice to us.

The staff was so nice to us and the rooms were fantastic! I had a great time at Casa Rovai and will recommend it to all my friends. It was inexpensive, clean, pretty rooms, there was free internet, the buffet breakfast was simple but very good, and the people did their best to be helpful to us. They even suggested a restaurant and made a reservation for dinner for us the last night we were there.

A wonderful stay in Florence: This bed and breakfast is absolutely charming, in a quiet area only a few minutes' walking distance from The Duomo and the center of the city. The staff was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make our experience wonderful. There were free rooms when we were there, so the staff gave us two rooms and two bathrooms for me and my two friends. The rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean. The free internet and nice breakfast made the stay even better. Casa Rovai is a great bargain for such a low price! I will recommend it to anyone I know who is going to Florence.

The website described Casa Rovai pretty well.

The whole experience of staying at Casa Rovai was like being welcomed at a good friend's house. Eveybody there was so nice. Plus the room was spacious compared to other accomodations we stayed at in Italy. Although the place is on a quiet street, all the main sights are just a few minutes walk. We are going to stay at Casa Rovai the next time we visit Firenze.

it might me useful to know the entrance on the street is also the entrance to a few other flats, just so guests know what to expect when arriving the first time.

A Quiet, charming place to stay. The staff were always very friendlyt and extremely helpful, and everything was very clean and tidy.
