Owner of the B&B was very helpful, rooms were clean and friendly - recommendable!
...
Very nice private rooms, nice area, not far from railway station.

No one was there to meet us but we called the number on the door and they were there within five minutes (we had been warned this may happen as they have two properties within five minutes walk of each other).
...
Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Room was quite small but clean and newly refurbished. Property is about 10 minute walk from city centre. Would stay here again.

Communication was a bit of a problem my lack of italian but very well organised
...
It was exactly like the website except there were stains on the duvet even though it was clean it does not give a good first impression.
...
The facilities were not shown us so we were unsure of the usage of them
...
The distance form the staion was not far but it was in the opposite directions to most of the attractions of Florence. My daughter and I walked it but after walking all over florence that little extra out past the station was a little too far.
...
The rooms are bright but may have stains on duvets but is clean and quiet , within walking distance of the train station but away from most attractions. (There was a smell in the room we had from the saniflo system) .The people friendly if you can speak italian or spanish .

we think the accomodation was wonderful and the people absolutely superb. we have already reccomended the place to many of our friends. It was remarkable for cleanliness, friendliness and convenience.

The Cassia Bed and Bed has a notice by the doorbell with a phone number telling arriving guests to phone so that someone can come in by to let you in. Being from overseas, we did not have a cell phone with us and asking a stranger to use a phone in a foreign country can be a challenge. We were lucky that a cleaning lady happened to be in for a short while when we showed up so we were let in that way. This is not an acceptable check in procedure. A small ' Cassia B&B' sign over the outside door would be very helpful to find the place more easily.
...
Cassia B & B fills the entire 2nd floor of a downtown apartment block with six rooms, some with attached baths. It was completely renovated in 2004 and is spotlessly clean. Our air conditioned room was large and very quiet. It had a small balcony overlooking a typical Italian courtyard in the back. It is only 15 minutes to the main tourist sites in Florence. We'd definitely stay there again.

Very tricky to get to by car, since it's just off the normal center-city maps and a series of one-way streets make it extremely confusing. Not their fault, of course--just a heads up. We could park right in front of the door to offload but were advised to move the car a couple of blocks away for the duration of the two-night stay (since we had no intention of driving within Florence).
...
The street was quiet, the concierge helpful, the room and bathroom quiet clean. Location was pretty good, since Florence is a very walking-friendly city.
...
There was no check-out process, since this was a pensione; we just left the keys where they asked us to. No one was about.
...
Determine exactly where it is and how to get there beforehand, and realize that Via Cassia is one-way leading away from Bellafiore. Walking is not a problem if you arrive by train.
...
We liked it and would stay there again.

It was a very pleasant hotel with a good location. Check out was too early at 10:00 a.m.
...
The staff are not always on the property. You should get directions to the train station and other nearby attractions before you arrive if you plan on arriving outside of normal (prior to 9 p.m.) check in hours. If you check in after that, the staff will be reachable by phone but will not be present to assist you.
...
This B&B is a good value for the money. The rooms are clean and well cared for. I would imagine it is amongst the best in terms of low cost accomodations. Service is minimal which is to be expected for the price range.

The person who greeted us, although lovely, didn't speak a word of English (as advertised on the website). That said, she was very nice and patient in trying to describe the rules of the house.
...
The only thing I can add is that the front door, when opened/closed throughout the day and night, was VERY loud. There was no chance of sleeping properly. However I know the establishment cannot really be held responsible for that. But the property can't REALLY be described as quiet.

Rooms were lovely, clean and spacious however.
...
Check-out was confusing and lax. Signs on the property state that the owners will be on premises from 9-930am in order to complete check-out, which ended at 10am. We waited all morning, and no one turned up for us to pay until 10am exactly. Not very good as we had a bus to catch.
...
Staff does not always speak English. Of the 3 different staff we encountered, only one of them spoke English. This doesn't really create any problem however.
...
Lovely staff, very clean and spacious rooms, but unfortunately not very quiet (our ONLY complaint). VERY good value for money.

had to call someone to give us a key but they arrived within five minutes and he was very nice and welcoming

All as expected

Maybe state how the accomodation is more like an apartment, how it gives you a real taste of living life in Florence

Basic rooms with sofa bed pulled out to make double bed. A bit of noise from room next door. Three of us asked for 1 double, 1 single, expecting 2 rooms, got 1 double room, 1 single room bonus!

I suppose that for only bed (without breakfast) the price could have been lower, however Florence is quite expensive in terms of hotels
...
absence of elevator & TV-set should be indicated; difficulties with parking if you arrive in the afternoon also (we spent about an hour to park)
...
not bad, but the porch might have been more clean (I mean the stairs from entrance to the floor); difficulties with parking; no elevator & TV

My friend and I were warmly greeted. However, we were curious as to why we weren't asked our names at our arrival, to double check that we were indeed the people checking in. Our passports were only collected after being shown our rooms.

We got the impression that the bed covers weren't perfectly clean.

After a three hour delay at our departing airport, I was rather annoyed that I arrived and found a note on the front door asking to ring a number for someone to let us in our room. Having no small change, I had to hunt around then find a phone box. I know we were delayed, but not the sort of welcome i'd invisiaged.
...
The only down side of our room (number 2)was the entrance door, half of which was glass and although it had been painted over and a bamboo blind hung the light from corridor still lit up the room during the night. Suggest some hardboard to cover the glass area.
