How To Reach Us

 From Florence Airport
The best way to arrive here is by taxi. It takes about 20 minutes and it costs about 20/25 euro. There is a BUS NAVETTA too which leaves every 30 minutes for the Santa Maria Novella Train Station. The price of the ticket is 4,00 euro each and you can pay it on the bus.

From the Santa Maria Novella Train Station
The best way to arrive here is by taxi. It takes 5 minutes and it costs you about 7,00 euro. You may walk if you don't have heavy luggage (10/15 minutes by foot). It's better if you have a little map of Florence with you. At the train station take the exit on the left side, the one next to the
pharmacy: Then cross the street and turn on your right. Pass a big square where there is HOTEL BAGLIONI and follow the road: VIA PANZANI. Then turn at the second street on your right to VIA RONDINELLI. You walk straight along VIA TORNABUONI till PIAZZA S. TRINITA (a square with a column in the middle). Then turn on your left along VIA PORTA ROSSA. Keep going straight until you reach VIA PELLICCERIA where we are. We are on the right side next to the OLD STOVE IRISH PUB, at number 2. There is no big sign outside but there is just a little bell door saying "Relais Cavalcanti". You cannot miss it because it's the only door next to the OLD STOVE IRISH PUB.

By car
We suggest you not to come to Florence by car. It's hard to drive (most of the streets are one way), the garages are expensive and you are not allowed to go in and out of the city centre as you like. In fact from Monday to Saturday from 7.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. you are allowed to drive into the city centre just to leave your luggage here or to go to the garages and to the rental car offices. You cannot park except in the garages too. IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO LET US KNOW THE EXACT TIME OF YOUR ENTRANCE INTO THE CITY CENTER AND YOUR LICENSE PLATE AT YOUR CHECK-IN. About directions: On the highway A1, you should get off at FIRENZE CERTOSA and follow the indications for Florence / centre ("centro"). It's better if you have a little map of Florence with you. When you arrive at the big medieval door of the city centre: PORTA ROMANA (you can recognize it because there is a big white statue of a woman in the middle of the square) you must pass through it and keep going straight ahead in VIA ROMANA and then in VIA MAGGIO until you reach PONTE SANTA TRINITA (a bridge over the river Arno with statues). Pass the river and again straight in VIA TORNABUONI . After the traffic light, just turn on the first road on the right and then turn again on the first on the right in VIA DE VECCHIETTI. Then keep going straight until the street ends in a little
square: PIAZZA DAVANZATI. Get the only road on your left: VIA PORTAROSSA and then turn on the first road on your right: VIA PELLICCERIA, where we are. We are on the right side next to the OLD STOVE IRISH PUB, at number 2. There is no big sign outside but there is just a little bell door saying "Relais Cavalcanti". You cannot miss it because it's the only door next to the OLD STOVE IRISH PUB. We will let you know how to reach the closest parking places later.
