Our B&B is located just in the historical centre of Florence, really few meters away from the famous "Piazza Duomo". It is located in Via Cavour, one of the most prestigious and lively streets in Florence. The place is very safe, even at late night. It is easy to reach on foot or with public transport and there are all kind of restaurants, bars and shops nearby. |

By Train: The nearest railway station is Firenze Santa Maria Novella.From here, you have different options to get our Cavour 10:
By taxi; by bus: n.10, n.17 or n.1 (the nearest bus stops are in Via Cavour) and get off at the stop between Via Guelfa and Via de'Gori. On foot: it takes just 10-15 minutes. From the station, take the exit on your left, where there is the MacDonald. From the exit, you can turn right, taking the subway or you can cross the street in front of you at the traffic light and turn right. In both cases follow the street until you reach Piazza Duomo. Via Cavour is on your left (in front of the baptistery). The B&B is in Via Cavour, at number 10.
By Air: The nearest airport is Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR-Peretola), located in the north-western part of the town. From the airport, you can take the taxi or the shuttle bus service "VolainBus": departures every 30 minutes from the airport. Last stop in Piazza della Stazione at Sita bus terminal. From the Sita Terminal, you reach in few minute walking the railway station, as above.
By Car:
Highways:
- A1 (from Rome): exit Firenze Sud,
- A1 (from Milan-Bologna): exit Firenze Certosa or crossing into A11, (Florence-Pisa-Livorno): exit Firenze Nord.
The nearest parkings (not free) are Mercato Centrale San Lorenzo and Parterre.
Cavour 10 is located in an area subjected to the following rules regarding private cars:
- no car thoroughfare from 8.00 a.m. to 7 p.m.,
- no stopping except for loading and discharging with police special permit. Or you can freely circulate from 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 a.m.
From the exit of the highway follow the signs to the centre and to the station, Santa Maria Novella. From the station follow Via Alamanni, cross Piazza della Stazione and follow the street on your right until you reach Piazza Duomo, on your right. Turn left in Via Cavour and the B&B is at number 10. |
