Room was not ready until 1.30pm despite check in time being from 12 midday ... Room was very small and very noisey as I happened to be there when it was the night for street sweeping ... Fairly comfortable but single room very small compared to all other hotels rooms that I have stayed in over the years as a single traveller. The location is good, close to station (walking distance) and all attractions.

A genuinly fantastic hotel and wonderfully helpful and accommodating staff ... I would most definitely recommend it. It is a charming hotel in a wonderful location. If ever in Florence again, we will be sure to return to Hotel Cellai.

Very Central Hotel for everthing. Hotel recommended some Restaurants which were excellent value for money.

It was clean, comfortable, stylish with wonderful nooks and crannies filled with unusual art pieces and furniture. They could be done with having a proper bar within the hotel as it was not the right weather for the roof terrace when we were there, but apart from that it was wonderful and would definitely recommend to others.

We enjoyed the fact that the hotel had its own personality. It wasn't a cookie-cutter hotel that could have been in any city. It had a comfortable European feel, and the staff was very nice. As Hotel Cellai is within easy walking distance of all the major sites we wanted to see, we thought the location was perfect.

nice room but very small bathroom. ... enjoyed the terrace lounge. ... Excellent accomodations but suggest you ensure you get a room with a larger bathroom. This one was much smaller than the bathrooms in any of the other hotels we stayed in during our two weeks in Italy.

Arrival was fine. The clerk was very accomodating. Got a bigger room than expected. ... Lovely appointments throughout the hotel. This hotel is not given star in the tour books...it should. It is wonderful.

Directions were clear for the most part. However, one thing I would mention is that the streets change names from one end of the block to the other, and that if you're coming in off of Carvour (I think that was it), the street isn't called Vientisette Aprile at that end. ... We had a very nice stay. We enjoyed meeting with friends & sharing wine on the upper patio area (which was decorated very nicely). Also enjoyed the artwork that was on display. ... Very simple. No problems. Staff was very helpful in giving us directions to our next destination. ... No ... Quaint, quiet, old, but pleasant. Not as close to the Duomo (that area in general) as one might want, but close enough to the Acadamie and other places of interest.

We were a little disappointed that there was no double glazing. ... Easy walking distance of a family run Tattoria which served excellent food at a very reasonable price. (The hotel did recommend the restaurant when we asked) ... A small, pleasant, clean and friendly hotel, within 15 minutes walk of all main attractions. Tea/coffee making facilities within the bedrooms would be appreciated.

Pretty well located. Somewhat worn in appearance. Breakfast time congested. Air conditioning adequate. Bed not all that comfortable.

Many streets are one way, finding the way to near the hotel was simple. But finding the route into the hotel from the nearby main street was challenging. Perhaps this was expected. ... A beautiful small hotel, managed by caring experts. ... Checking out and getting the rental car back from the garage was effortless. ... A beautiful small and comfortable hotel, even when the temperature outside was 41C. You should commend Hotel Cellai, Daniel is a masterful inn keeper. Beautiful lobby and salons as well. ... This is the place to stay. Close to St. Marco (not to be missed) and the Art Academy. A pleasant walk to Center. We will stay there again when we go to Florence. Very good breakfast as well.
