By Train: if you are arriving by train, Hotel Cimabue is easily reached in 5 minutes by taxi. Exiting out the left of the station, follow Via Nazionale, Piazza Indipendenza and then Via S. Caterina d'Alessandria. At the end of this last road take first on the right Via Bonifacio Lupi. Walking distance: 15 min.
By Air: Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence is located only at 10 km from the center of Florence. You can take a taxi and arrive to hotel Cimabue in 15/20 minutes.
By Car from north: on the highway A1 exit "Firenze Nord" and follow the sign "Centro - Fortezza da Basso". When you arrive at the Fortezza take Viale Spartaco Lavagnini then once you reach Piazza della Libertà take right Via Cavour. Then turn first right, right again, first left and left again.
By Car from south: on the highway A1 exit "Firenze Sud" and follow the directions to "Centro - Viali di circonvallazione" untill you get to "Piazza della Libertà". Go around the square and after the traffic light, turn in Via Cavour. Then turn first right, right again, first left and left again. |
