By car
From the north:
On the A1 highway, take the first exit to Firenze nord and then follow the indications to Centro-Fortezza da Basso or Viali di Circonvallazione . When you arrive at the fortress (on the left) drive along the tree-lined avenues until you reach Piazza della Lbertà . Bear right and, at the traffic lights on the square, turn right on via Cavour . Then turn first right, go two blocks and turn left.
From the south:
On the highway A1, take the first exit to Firenze sud and then follow the indications to Centro-Fortezza da Basso or Viali di Circonvallazione . Drive along the tree-lined avenues until you reach Piazza della Lbertà . Bear left as you go around the square and then turn right on via Cavour . Then turn first right, go two blocks and turn left.
By train
The Santa Maria Novella railway station is a 15-minute walk from the hotel: follow Via Nazionale , Piazza Indipendenza , Via S. Caterina d'Alessandria and then make a right turn on Via Bonifacio Lupi .
You can also reach the hotel by taxi, easily found at the station, or by one of the several bus lines available: 1, 7, 10, 17 or 25 and get off at Piazza San Marco . Bus tickets should be bought in advance at one of the newspaper stands inside the train station.
By airplane
The Firenze-Amerigo Vespucci airport is approximately 8 km away. You can reach the hotel by taxi or by the Airport Shuttle bus, which connects to the Santa Maria Novella railway station, and then follow the above-said directions. | | |
