Pascal and Rick were very welcoming and friendly.They gave us a map of Florence,showed us the best places to visit and even booked us a table at a nearby restaurant,which was very good and inexpensive.They were very thoughtful and had reserved tickets for us at the Uffizi and Galleria dell'Accademia,which saved us hours in queuing time.They were the perfect hosts and were very genuine people.

The accomodation was excellent,ideal for a family.We had a double room with a bedroom next door which was spacious with 3 single beds,ideal for children.The two rooms shared a bathroom which was very clean and importantly had a bath and excellent power shower.Decor was bright and funky,just as it appears on the website.I loved the origionality!We had our own privacy and the appartment is very secure and extremely quiet as it is set back from the road.Although very approachable,Pascal and Rick gave us our own privacy and space.Breakfast was at a time of our choosing and consisted of toast with homemade jams with as much coffee,tea,hotchocolate and juice as we could drink.A great and relaxing way to start the day!We could come and go as we pleased as we had a set of our own keys.We did have to negotiate a couple of flights of stairs to get to the appartment but this should not be a problem if you are fit and healthy.

Checking out was very relaxed and flexible.We had to vacate one room by the afternoon,but were able to use the other until ready to leave,which was very kind of Pascal and Rick.

Colori B&B lived up to our expectations and exceeded them.I was slightly concerned about the location not being central but in fact it was only 10 minutes on foot or 5 mins on a bus from central Florence and was in a quieter,more residential area,which upon reflection was better.

I would not hesitate in recommending Colori B&B to friends.We would certainly stay there again.As far as value for money goes,I don't think you will get better.Equally,as far as hospitality goes, I don't think that you could better this.High praise indeed from one very satisfied family!

We enjoyed our stay at Colori B+B immensely. I could not ask for a better host than Pascal.

Colori B+B is a haven of peace right next to the busy, noisy old centre of Florence. Return each night and feel yourself relax as soon as you shut the door to the courtyard and all the noise vanishes.
Pascal is a wonderful, generous, extremely helpful host. His breakfast will set you up for the day. (Try all the jams: yummmm.) The rooms are clean, the beds comfy and the coverings ample.
The only slight drawback to Colori is the walk to the main sights -- 15min stroll or 10min brisk pace. But afterall, Florence is flat so the walk is easy and with all the excellent food in Italy, having to walk a little extra to get to one's accommodation is a Good Thing.

The room was comfortable, air conditioned and very clean. Although the bathroom was no a private one, it was clean and towels were provided. The owners were friendly, spoke english well and were very respectful of our privacy. They were very nice people.

Claude was extremely helpful in calling several times for a taxi to get us to the airport, even waiting with us on the street fo one to arrive

It is a beautiful, colorful, modern yet old and clean residence. They asked what time we would like breakfast the day before and had it ready for us as needed. We had keys to the place and could come and go as early or as late as we wanted. There are some steps to climb since it is not on a ground floor. Also the place is in a quiet courtyard behind the main building on the street, but there is a doorbell to ring on arrival. There is very little night or street noise, and none at all with the air conditioner on.

It is a lovely place to stay and the owners are very friendly and knowlegable about Florence. Most of all, very respectful of our privacy, and very nice. The breakfast was good as well, including Claude's grandmother's Kiwi jam recipe, and fresh strawberries. We would go back any time.

Pascal was there to welcome me and I immediately felt at home.

Ric and Pascal made me feel welcome and always made sure I had everything that I needed from information on sights to places to eat to keeping me company and chatting around the breakfast table. Fantastic hosts!

Stress that it is the place to stay if you wish to feel like you are staying with friends! A most amazing and comfortable place if you are traveling a long time and miss the comforts of home.

We were welcomed by a neighbour of the B&B, as our flight arrived late. However, the welcome was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful. The owners were great - very relaxed, helpful and chatty. Like real friends! The room was lovely - nothing too fancy but it was what we wanted and we were very comfortable there.

All fine. We had to leave very promptly to catch a train and they took this into account and were quick to check us out.

Colori was just wonderful. Felt very homely and relaxed. The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom nice and clean. It had more of a home feel than a hotel, a personal service with lots of advice about where to go, where to eat, etc. We loved it.

I stayed at the Colori B&B for two weeks while I was taking Italian lessons. It was perfectly clean,comfortable, and Pascal and Rick were super nice and accomodating. They let me use the washing machine and I even cooked a couple of nights. It is a little bit away from the city center, however I was glad for this because in June the center of florence is always packed with tourists, and the location of the B&B is in a more homey, residential area, that made me feel more like I was an actual resident of Florence. It is also close to great restaurants and bars that are generally cheaper than the city center. Every morning to class I would walk the 25 minutes it took to get to the city center over the pontevecchio, and it was a beautiful walk, it was not a problem at all. Colori was an excellent value for my money, especially since I was there for two weeks and received a wonderful rate. I am so grateful to Pascal and Rick for having such a fabulous place for so inexpensive. I loved it, and I hope to be back soon to take some more classes, and hopefully stay again at Colori.

Pascal, the owner, was extremely helpful in showing us where things were and how to get there. He provided a map and told us about good things to see, some of which are not necessarily in the tour guides. He also made advance reservations for us at the Uffize and Accademia.

Colori B&B was a very comfortable place to stay. It was clean, the breakfasts were good (some delicious Italian pastries for breakfast plus cheese and meat and good coffee!), and the location was great for seeing Firenze. The kitchen was available for our use and Pascal helped us in ways over and above what we would have expected.

I would tell a friend that Colori is a great place to stay ... very reasonable prices, convenient location, and a very gracious host. Also a good place to meet and talk with other travelers.

We enjoyed our stay at the Colori B&B. On our arrival we were made a cup of coffee and were recommended an excellent local restaurant which we visited twice. We only found our arrival a bit confusing locating the street numbering.

Suggestion: Maybe it can be mentioned in the website that Colori B&B is located after a short walk through a court yard within the building... we were fortunate to be shown the way by a resident.

Friendly and welcoming, nice rooms. Bathroom is shared but not a problem for us as we were the only guests. Breakfast a little disappointing, although homemade jam lovely.
