By Car: from the South - Highway A1 - exit "Firenze Sud "
Follow Viale Spartaco Lavagnini for 516m, turn right, follow Piazza Della Libertà for 148m then onto Viale Giacomo Matteotti for 674m. Drive along Piazzale Donatello for 50m, go around the roundabout onto Viale Antonio Gramsci. Follow Viale Giovine Italia for 511m, then into Piazza Piave, turn left and drive along the riverside road, Lungarno Guglielmo Pecori Giraldi for 120 m. Cross the bridge Ponte San Niccolò, turn right into Piazza Francesco Ferruci then drive along Via Giampaolo Orsini for 500 or so metres until you reach Via di Ripoli. Turn right into Via Ripoli then left into Via Coluccio Salutati. Drive along here until turning right into Viale Donato Giannotti and you will find Via Bartolemmeo Scala almost 70 metres along.
By Train: from the Santa Maria Novella railway station exit the station and take a taxi from the rank outside the station. 10 minutes taxi-ride depending on traffic.
By Air: the nearest airport is Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence 10 km away or the Pisa Airport Gallileo Gallilei, is 104 km away. Trains run from the airport directly to Santa Maria Novella train station. |
