The person who greeted us had no knowledge of English, but it did't matter at all. ... Very free and easy, peaceful and comfortable. Extra pillows would have been nice. ... No problem. ... Would be fascinating to any student of modern architecture. ... Wonderful position - what a view! Just as the architect left it. Old style comfort and lots of quirky features. After staying in B&B in central Firenze, this is very different. Hard to believe it is so near the city and yet toally rural.

made to feel very welcome and completely at ease. ... I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. It was scrupulously clean, very tastefully decorated and the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. We were made to feel at home and given freedom to use all the facilities of the house and grounds.A very beautiful and peaceful place to which I would have no hesitation to return. ... Done in a very efficient, smooth and friendly manner. ... perhaps to point out that there is an additional charge for the use of the kitchen and also that washing and ironing can be done for you at an extra charge. ...
A beautiful house in a wonderful setting where you can escape from the world and enjoy peace and serenity.

The reason that the directions were not very clear is that finding Firenze Nord was difficult - we got lost in the City (which given the different driving customs was very tough). ... The surrounding area was beautiful and very scenic. ... 1. Easier to drive to Fiesole, park and take a bus into the City. 2. The B&B did not provide shampoo, soap, hairdryer, etc. ... 1. A wonderful place to get away from the bustle of Firenze, great atmosphere.

The bath towels, although nice in quality, do not absorb water very well. Also, we suggest a hair dryer be provided as standard equipment in the bathroom. Lastly, although wash cloths are apparently uncommon for Italians, other foreign travellers may appreciate having them available in the bathroom. (Hair dryers and wash cloths are consistently overlooked in many Italian B&Bs.) ... I would suggest cleaning up some debris (wood, metal, garden and construction materials) near the B&B which is a bit of an eyesore to anyone wandering around the property. ... A good, clean, friendly and quiet alternative to staying in Firenze.

It was difficult finding the directions from central Florence to Fiesole, but once in Fiesole was very easy to find the B&B. The room we got did not reflect the room at all displayed on the website but it was a clean, tidy and pleasant room with a great view from our window. ... We felt the garden wasn't finished and the pool was abit of a disappointment. Other than that the B&B was located high up in the hills which was brilliant and had a great view of Florence especially in the evenings. Was further away from Fiesole than we orginally thought! All the staff was friendly and helpful. ... They gave us a small gift of herbs from their garden upon checkout which i thought was a great and wonderful idea. Lady was present upon our checkout and was very helpful. ... postive: should display an image of the evening view of Florence, that was gorgeous! ... A lovely rustic house on the hills with great views overlooking Florence! A Quiet and peaceful place to get away from the heat and hordes of tourist in central florence.
