Excellent location. Views of the Bargello and Palazzo Vecchio bell tower from the eating area. The cultural center of Florence is right outside the front door. Everything, food, services, shopping, museums, public transport and more are only a few steps away.

It would be good if the staff carry some change on them since they required an exact amount. But they were nice enough to say we can leave the couple of euros on the table when we leave since no one had change.

The apartment itself was wonderful, all we could have wished for. However I had arranged for early entry, 9 am. I called the contact many times to confirm this and then on the morning of arrival was told it would not be free until after 11. This was unsatisfactory. Also, we had not been told it was on the sixth floor and there was no lift. Had we had suitcases we would have been a very difficult situation. this was a serious flaw in the advertising. The contact person also spoke very little English which made confirmation of arrangements difficult.

The apartment itself was wonderful. An ideal apartment for central Florence. Clean, beautifully appointed and very central. However the fact that we had not been advised it was on the sixth floor with no lift meant that our friend in Florence, who has a heart condition, could not climb the stairs to visit us there.

The business about paying the deposit was extremely confusing because the contact person spoke so little English. The arrangements made about early arrival should have been kept, had we known we were to be kept waiting in the street for two hours we would have made other arrangements. Also, as mentioned the fact that it was on the sixth floor with no lift needs to be prominently stated on the web site.

I would be very happy to recommend it, despite my concerns expressed above.

We had previously arranged to meet at the apartment at 11.30am, and this was successful. Though, the lady spoke no English, making it difficult to find out things in the apartment.

The apartment looked identical to what was shown on the website, however not very clean. Found it to be very dusty and the oven was not working.

The apartment is a a great location, and easy to access and safe. However, the communication between us and the owner of the apartment was limited.

It needs to be cleaned out, it is quite dusty on the floors and beds. New sheets would be most appropriate.

The person was flexible and agreed to come early to better match our train's arrival time.

The street noise and honking was somewhat disruptive to our sleep.

Conveniently located near most visited areas.
It would be nice if restaurant recommendations were in the apartment. Also, directions to nearby grocery stores in case guests wish to make their own meals.

Nice, clean, very convenient, but bring earplugs. The street is busy and traffic is pretty constant. Good value for the money. We would definitely stay there again.

The description online was a bit liberal. It was not really a two bedroom rather one room with a sofa sleeper.

We looked for an appartment with conditioning air, but Dante Alighieri appartment had air conditioning ONLY in the sleeping room, and it DIDN'T WORK fine, so we had to stop it after a time working (max. 2 hours); the fridge didn't work fine, either, so we had to use the freezing department to get cold water, and satellite TV didn't work. Sofa-bed was in bad conditions to sleep. Some light bulbs didn't work, and the outer shutter in living room's window was in very bad conditions, I was affraid it could fall off.

The checking out was wonderful, we only had to go out the appartment leaving the key inside.

This appartment is a little clapped out, but the location is fantastic.
