Because the hotel is in the 'pedestrian only' area of Florence(although cars are ok for baggage drop and parking)this fact should be mentioned.Specific major street instructions would also have been helpful since there are so many short, one way, and narrow streets.

Very conveniently located in 'old' Florence, near major sites of interest, shopping, and restaurants. We were very pleased with our choice.
The staff at breakfast was efficient, attentive, kept the food & coffee well stocked and the breakfast area clean and ready for guests.
Hotel parking rate was better than offered by parking garages.
Hotel maintains a small 'library' including helpful reference/tour books on Florence and the Tuscany area.
Nice, bright courtyard off the lobby. Private and comfortable for relaxing out of the room.

Web site was very helpful and we found all information accurate and dependable.
Nice well stocked chocolate shop/mini-market next door. Drinks, snacks and other items better priced than on the 'tourist' streets.
Coffee, beer, drinks and wine available in lobby-area at prices better than the small cafes in the area.

We had asked for a room with a view of the Duomo and got one of only three or four rooms with a super view.

I would recommend this hotel as a clean, friendly and comfortable hotel, extremely close to the Duomo and within easy walking distance of all the major sights as well as the Rail Station.

this is our 3rd stay at Hotel de Lanzi. The staff are always welcoming and helpful.
We had no trouble finding the hotel but I seem to remember reading on the web-site that it was close to the station. I thought at the time that this was a little inaccurate. It is a ten minute walk to the station and I would not suggest anyone trying to walk to the hotel with their luggage.

You should make available, clearly, a room without breakfast. The breakfast is a terrible value at 15 Euro.

It was clean, pleasant and in good repair. We were in the midle of the most important sights. Book a room without breakfast and find a better breakfast for much less money nearby.

Our room was exceptionally quiet for being in a hotel in the center of Florence. The hotel is very conveniently situated, close to the Duomo, and within walking distance from all major attractions of Florence (and they are many!)

The lift, hallway and the foyer of this hotel is nothing special however the rooms are fine, clean, neat, tidy and comfortable. The location is great.

There is an interior courtyard with tables and chairs that is accessible from the reception desk. We found this to be a nice place to relax outside of the room during good weather.

The Hotel De' Lanzi is centrally located in Florence just a few steps away from the Duomo. The staff was courteous and helpful. Everyone that manned the reception desk spoke English. The room, although not spacious or luxurious, was clean and contained all the necessities for the traveller.
I felt very comfortable there, and would stay there again.
