The suite is perfect for families-- ideal. The room really should have a refrigerator (We needed it for the baby's milk), and the breakfast room should have at least one high chair. Other than that it is a great hotel for families.

The air conditioning did not appear to work and it was very very hot while we were there.
The hotel brochure stated that ice was available on the 1 and 3 floor, but it was only cold drinks, thought there would be an ice machine.

had no hot water for the first half day we were there. Reception clerk was very dismissive with our situation and did nothing to help.

Hotel wasn't great at dealing with large numbers at arrival. They took our details and told us our room was a twin, we booked a double - its was our anniversary!! So the pushed the beds together for us....

Over all the hotel could do with fresh paint. But i have to say the room was cleaned each day and the linen was very clean as too the bathroom. The room was larger than most Italian room. Breakfast was very poor with little choice.

Basic, got what you need for a coulpe of nights stay, within easy access to the train station and a short walk to the main attractions of Florence.
