 The Servi Apartments represent four fine accommodations in the same block, a distinguished period building 350 metres from the Duomo, 100 metres from SS.Annunziata.
Three of them are adjoining apartments, on the second floor. The fourth is on the third floor, with interesting side views over the monuments. A small elevator has been installed recently.
The apartments have undergone complete renovation, with full respect of their character and maintainance of their old parts of interest ,such as the high, painted coffered ceilings, and made thoroughly comfortable, complete with air conditioning and broadband wireless internet connection. |
 That makes the Servi apartments one of the best accomodations for any kind of short/medium term rental: not only are they close to the Duomo (still "the" center of everything) and to some of the most important museums and attractions (Galleria dell'Accademia for the David; Opificio delle Pietre Dure for the old semi-precious inlaid stoneworks; Museo Archeologico, Ospedale degli Inoocenti, S.Marco with Beato Angelico's frescoes) but also to some poles of cultural relevance, as the Italian University where foreigners are admitted to some extent, the Dante Alighieri and the Galileo Galilei Institutes of Italian Culpture, the Conservatorio Boccherini (Music Academy) and the Teatro della Pergola. |
 Everybody can find in the Servi apartments his ideal accommodation. From the tourist visiting the city for the first time in a few days, to the student attending classes of different lenght and importance, to the amateur or professional musician.
On the second floor the three adjoining apartments are: Magda (65 sq. Mtrs, 4+2 persons); Massimo (loft, 40 sq.mtrs, 1+3 persons): Oyster ( 45 sq.mtrs, 2+2 persons). They may be connected and made into two or just one large apartment. Large groups travelling together, students from the same area attending classes in Florence should consider this possibility.
On the third floor, the Arianna apartment can accommodate 4+2 persons. |
