 The hotel is near one of the now demolished gates in the wall which once surrounded the city. Here you still breath the atmosphere of the old house (the terracotta, the stonework and the fine collection of old tools on display all around the hotel) and this, combined with every modern comfort, makes our hotel your "home" in the very heart of Florence. |
Antonio Lelli, a famous photographer from Florence and his Canadian wife, Rose have been hoteliers since 1974. The hotel is an 18th century building which has been completely refurbished internally.

 All are nicely furnished and with ensuite bathrooms. All have satellite TV, direct-dial telephone, and computer jacks and fax-machine on request. The hotel is convenientely located near the central train station of S.M. Novella and just steps away from the Conference Hall and the Exhibition grounds of the Fortezza da Basso. A very valuable asset in the city centre is the hotel's private garage accessible 24 hours a day. |
The reception area has a bar and lots of common space, a pleasant breakfast room where a delicious buffet breakfast is served -juice, fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, sliced ham and cheese, yogurt, cereal, all the traditional hot drinks. |
