Staff were friendly and accommodating plus the hotel was within easy reach of the major attractions by walking, especially considering our short stay. ... did not know it existed ... once again, did not know it was there. My only concern was to secure a room. ... Quick & efficient ... Just adequate ... The map was not so clear when making my way to the hotel from the railway station. It almost looked like the hotel was on the edge of the city or something. Pehaps if it were bigger! ... for some reason i thought i already paid upon reservation ... proximity of the markets and closes of adjacent buildings. ... i'm a happy with the service and i like florence now! ... Good for a tourist and also near to where the people live, culture and so on. That's really what i wanted to see.

Excellent location, we traveled by train and it was only a short walk from the station. ... We would, and have, recommended the Galileo to future travelers. That is the best comment on any place. ... The hotel had a PC/Internet connection in the lobby available to customers - we thought this was a very nice touch. ... I would tell them to stay at this hotel. The location was great to all the main attractions, lot's of dinning options close by, laundry, etc. The hotel was very nice, clean, everyone very helpful and friendly.

Stayed non-sequential nights. 1st night room was smaller with 110V available. 2nd night room was very nice with balcony doors, but without 110V. Could all room have 110V access? ... Simple but very adequate breakfast included. ... Nice 3 star hotel. Centrally located. Easy walking distance to all sites. Very helpful staff.

Clean & comfortable hotel but definitely on a noisy street. Also the A/C is controlled by the front desk....you need to call the front desk to turn it on. One night they didn't answer the phone when called. I didn't pursue it but suppose I could have gone down the front desk in person. ... Clean, no-frills, in a convenient location but get a room in the back -- not facing Via Nazionale.

It was not enough light in the room, but the probleme was solved as soon as I said it to the reception. ... Very beautifull design in old florentine style (I think),on the corridor and the halls between the first and second floors. Beautifull design of the stairs. ... Beautifull hotel.Good price.Well located. My room was not big enough and it was a little dark in it.I asked for more light and it was made the same day.Thanks.

It was very nice, it was clean and the people were very friendly and helpful. We certainly book this hotel again if we get a good price as we had this time. The directions were confusing, because I think that the hotel is placed after the sidestreet and not before. Please check your map again. We arrived in the early morning and were still a bit sleepy, so we were even more confused by the two different housenumbers that are shown in Via Nazionale. And as the map we got in the internet was also wrong,we had to ask someone. Kind regards Martha Schweiger
... We liked it there and the rooms into the backyard are rather quiet. ... Travelling is expensive. Compared to other towns and hotels it was reasonable. ... Not really. But the walking distance from the station and bus station, nice restaurants in the area, the closeness to the Public market and of course cultural sites is a big advantage. ... Clean, nice, ideal area, especially when arriving by train, friendly people and friendly atmosphere. Hotel not too large, price reasonable.
