 The historical Palace "Palazzo Galletti" is located in Via S. Egidio, a mere ten minute walk from the Duomo and the Basilica of S.Croce. It is also within close proximity to the famous theatres La Pergola and Verdi. Entering the reception area, on the first floor, one is immediately plunged into a sensation of antiquity and glamorous elegance, features that characterise this ambience as a unique "maison de charme". |
 Recently restored this building has been a sleeping giant that has been newly awaken in all its splendour. Beautiful frescos have been found in these abandoned walls brought to life with an entire school of restorers to allow our guests to feel and admire the beauty of the centuries have left behind in this noble building. |
 The young owners, who run the B&B, have paid meticulous attention to detail, creating an unusual yet elegant blend of classical and ethnic styles. The nine beautiful and spacious rooms, paved in original terra cotta tiles and painted frescos walls, are named after the planets in the solar system and consequently the roman Gods: Mercury, Venus, Cerere identified with the Earth , Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto. |
 The furnishings have made every room unique in its atmosphere. Every bedroom has the highest standard and includes a king-size bed, air conditioning, soundproof walls, flat-screen TV, direct Internet access, a mini bar and safety box. Every bedroom opens onto a private and very quiet balcony, allowing guests a truly relaxing moment of escaping from the buzzing streets. |
 The true history of this palace comes through in the magical hours of your mornings. The kitchen dating back to 1550 with its wide-low hooded sink and its vaulted ceilings, where breakfast is served, allows guests to experience the charm of times gone by.
