Coming by Car
- from the South:
From A1 highway take exit Firenze Sud. Follow the signs for Firenze Centro. Cross the river Arno and you will be on the Viali of Circonvallazione. Just
before "Piazza Beccaria" at the traffic lights, turn left around the "Archivio di Stato", into Via dell'Agnolo. Go straight till Via Verdi and turn right.
You find a traffic lights and turn left in Via S. Egidio where The Bed and Breakfast is located (Via S.Egidio number 12 - first floor). In front of it there is the entrance of a garage where you can leave the car paying a daily ticket.
- from the North:
From A1 highway take exit Firenze Nord and follow the signs for the city centre "Firenze Centro". Then look for the signs for "Viali of Circonvallazione"
until you find Piazza della Libertà, Piazza Donatello, and finally "Piazza Beccaria". At the first set of traffic lights after Piazza Beccaria, turn right
into Via dell'Agnolo. Go straight till Via Verdi and turn right. You find a traffic lights and turn left in Via S. Egidio where The Bed and Breakfast is located (Via S.Egidio number 12 - first floor). In front of it there is the entrance of a garage where you can leave the car paying a daily ticket.
Coming by Air
- Airport Amerigo Vespucci of Florence - 5 km far from the city centre. You can reach Palazzo Galletti by taxi or by bus. The bus will take you to the main
railway station (S.M.Novella), from where you can walk or get another bus.
- Airport Galileo Galilei of Pisa - 90 km from Florence. Take the train leaving directly from the airport to S.M.Novella of Florence.
From the railway station (Santa Maria Novella)
- By Taxi: you can find a taxi stand in front of the railway station.
- By Bus: the bus stops are in front of the railway station. Take the bus number 14 to the bus stop in Via del Proconsolo. Then turn back in the direction
of the Duomo and you will find Via dell'Oriuolo and the end of the street turn left in Via S.Egidio.
- On foot: Palazzo Galletti is situated about 15 minute walk from S.M.Novella railway station. From the station walk in the direction of Piazza del Duomo,
along via Cerretani. Walk across Piazza del Duomo and you will find Via dell'Oriuolo and the end of the street turn left in Via S.Egidio. You have to walk
towards Piazza del Duomo for some metres and you will find Palazzo Galletti on the right hand-side at number 12 - first floor.
Note: Palazzo Galletti is situated in a ZTL area which means an area with limited traffic access (only residents). Only at certain hours of the day cars are
allowed into this area of the city. In front of the Palazzo Galletti there is the "Duomo Garage" which has an agreement with us for our guests. Possibility
of day paying parking. |
