The only real negative that I would give to the hotel was the breakfast. Some of our disappointment with it came because the Italians make truely wonderful coffee - in each of the three cities that we visited - even from automatic machines - EXCEPT at the hotel. It always tasted like three day old.
The rest of the breakfast was low grade at best. We finally gave up on it and went out to other places.
The Concierge was helpful in arranging reservations and giving us info, directions, schedules, etc.

Easy to find, right on the Arno river, large enough to have all the facilities you need, maybe a little off the tourist sites - which can be good or bad.
