Hotel exceeded our expectations. Friendly service and a quiet spacious clean room. The breakfasts were Ok but it would have been nice to have some fresh fruit.

Although the driving directions to the hotel were written out fairly clearly, We had an awful time finding the hotel because of the nature of the city; ie the lack of signage, narrow streets, etc. We eventually hired a cab to lead us to the hotel. We never would have found it without being led.

Overall, the hotel was delightful. The location was great. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very quiet despite being right on a busy street. The bathrooms were new and large. The breakfast was great and the staff was polite and helpful.
I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel City was very well organized at checkout (even though we left at 4:30am!). They ordered a cab for us the night before that arrived on time, they gave a wakeup call as requested, and the checkout process was quick.

That the location was absolutely perfect: near major attractions, yet very quiet. The price was incredibly reasonable. It seemed like a local neighborhood and not very touristy.

Francesco and Benedetto (?spelling?) were extremely polite, helpful, and kind during our visit at Hotel City. The room was quiet and just perfect, within walking distance to everything as we had hoped. And, the breakfast was relaxing and the server delightful. We would happily recommend Hotel City to our friends.

Hotel City was clean, comfortable and ideally located to visit the sites of Florence, which were all within easy walking distance. Plenty of good, reasonably priced bars and restaurants nearby. Perfect for a weekend break.

Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and ideally located, very convenient for Santa Maria Novella train station (5 minutes walk) and major sites of Florence. Rooms fairly small but perfect for a weekend break. Would stay there again.

The receptionist was very clear and helpful with concise instructions on how to find the private garage to park the car.
