 The Hotel Centro is situated in the heart of Florence, close to the SMN station, from where guests will access almost all destinations in Tuscany. The palace is of Renaissance origin and was once home to the famous painter and architect Raffaello, as the memorial stone on the hotel's wall shows. The hotel's central position is an invitation to discover the city of Florence, famous for its magnificent art and architecture. Some say that out of the 1,000 most important European artists of the second millennium, at least 1/3 lived or worked in Florence. On foot, why not start with San Lorenzo market, one of the biggest market in Florence, and then walk to Santa Maria del Fiore, better know as the Duomo, or to Piazza della Signoria and its Fountain of Neptune. We also advise you try in one of the numerous restaurants in the city Tuscany's typical cooking: crostini, and others bistecca alla fiorentina await you.
