We drove by the entrance twice before we saw it. Also, we're Americans, and we were puzzled about where to park while we unloaded our luggage. Finally, a kind policeman told us to just park in the street. (Something like that in a major U.S.A. city would result in a fine.)

I actually emailed you a couple of days ago regarding my friend's spectacles. When she got home she realised that she had lost her glasses, however doesn't know if she left them in the hotel room or not. Could you please contact the hotel for us and ask if any spectacles have been found in the room. If so, could they post them on to us and take they fee for the postage from the our credit card. I have looked on the Hotel Centrale web page but can't find an email address for them.
Could you please let me know if they have been found or not.

Florence was a beautiful city and I would certainly recommend that they stay at the Hotel Centrale. The staff were friendly and the rooms were tradional and lovely. Hotel situated right in the centre of the city, just minutes walk from the train station. Marvellous!

upon our arrival, the woman at the desk was very friendly. she went to our room to see if it was ready, which it was, and walked us up. She also made reservations for us for the Uffizi for the next day, which other hotels told us was impossible.

This was the best place on our trip to Italy. The hotel exceeds expectations from the images online. It was comfortable, spacious, clean, and updated. The minibar, bar downstairs were great and affordable. The breakfast was wonderful and filling. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was just lovely...very clean. The breakfast was superg and the two women who served us on the 2 mornings we were there couldn't have been lovelier.

Perfect! Excellent location, great sized room, extremely clean and new. We were so pleased. This was by far the best value for money we had overall of our 2 weeks in Italy.

An exceptional experience. The room was beautiful, with little touches (like the 2 chocs) that made it special. It was spotlessly clean. I loved the lights everywhere.

Information we received indicated free access to internet facilities at the hotel. These were not available at the hotel.

We stayed at 7 different hotels while traveling around Italy. Hotel Centrale in Florence had by far, the most comfortable beds we slept in.

I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment at the Academia. The receptionist was nice enough to allow me to put my begs in the room and leave immediately for my appointment. She even gave me directions to the Academia. Check in was speedy and efficient.

Stayed for 2 nights in Hotel Centrale and was plesantly surprise to find out how close this place is to all the attractions. Above all, the room was big, with tall ceiling and comes with a couch. The restroom was the biggest I have seen of all Italian hotels. The hotel staff was polite and helpful. One of them even came into my room to help setup an internet connection on my laptop.

The breakfast was buffer style and the selection was more than ample. Besides the useual briochete and capuchino, there were pastries, toast, juices, cheese and fruits. The hot chocolate is the best I have ever tasted.

Information concerning the existence of an elevator to get to the Hotel at the second floor would be appreciated, since we had to go up the stairs with our luggage upon our arrival.

Emphazise the fact that the Hotel is at a second floor of the building, and that there is a very small elevator to go up (only one person with luggage can go up at a time).
Specify that an Internet Point at the Hotel is still not available.
Underline the fact that the service and attention and concern of the personell is excellent at all times.
Include a map with directions to get to the Hotel from the train station.

The Hotel Centrale is a nice place to stay in Florence. Although the building looks old and the elevator to go up with luggage is extremely small and uncomfortable, when you get to the second floor at the Hotel, everything looks beautiful light and clean starting at the reception. The environment is inviting and the staff is very kind. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. We found that breakfast was excellent except on Sunday, because there was an unexperienced person serving and the variety of products offered is diminished as compared to the other days.

We had very good accomodations at Hotel Centrale. The breakfast was generous, the internet was free, and the room was very clean and nice. We liked the availability of a bar on the premises for a cocktail before dinner and the lounge had many books and a television so that we could check world news. The accomodations were splendid.

The map from rail station to hotel does not show the best walking route. It shows back streets while the obvious route is on a main street and shorter than the map route.

Only in the sense that the superior room was very disappointing. All the other rooms were fine.

The superior room is not that. However all the rooms were good with nice touches, (eg slippers). I do not think the bar has ever been used. Location is excellent.
